"Very European in nature with shared bathrooms that were very clean. The room was nicely decorated and very clean as well. Great bed, one of the best I’ve ever slept in when not in my own bed! And no TV which was wonderful for quiet downtime. There was a nice common area as well. Very secure. Excellent location, easy walk to everything. Overall, a great way to spend our anniversary weekend away."

"This beautiful hotel is what Downtown Poulsbo has been waiting for! The new owners have out done themselves with the remodel! Every room is slightly different with a unique Scandinavian flare! The common space is perfect to sip your morning coffee while you wait for others in your room to wake up, then head outside and immediately be immersed in Poulsbo’s boutique stores and eateries all right on the waterfront. This is truly the perfect place for a staycation or for those out of town guests that you just don’t have room to sleep at your home. I will be coming back to stay at Hotel Scandi as often as possible!!"

"If you've been to Europe and stayed in a traditional, small, privately run pension-hotel then you'll feel right at home here! Similar to a bed and breakfast where you share a well managed (clean and attended) bathroom with a few other guests, this is upscale and modern in a way that many older pension-hotels in Europe aren't. We loved it and will definitely be back! The location was perfect, even though the weather happened to be perfectly horrible (freak ice storm). We forgot to take pictures but we will next time!"

"Loved the place, very pretty, very perfect and warm. Don't forget your cork screw and wine glasses if you're having a night inside, none provided (we used the paper cups and bought a corkscrew at the little market near by). Everyone outside can see you from the street if your light is on and the blinds are open. The entry was a little tricky despite the excellent instructions from the host."

"We had a great stay at Hotel Scandi. Rooms were clean and comfortable. At first we were a bit hesitant about common showers but they were maintained well throughout the day and were strategically located close to all rooms. Will definitely visit again."
