"I can’t emphasize enough how charming this boutique hotel was, from the warm and hospitable staff and owners, to the other guests and locals that frequented the welcoming lounge. The rooms my friends and I had (girls trip) surrounded us with unique antiques and beds that were like sleeping on a cloud. We awoke in the morning with the sweet aroma of fresh baking pastries. We walked and shopped all over town. I can’t wait to return with my hubby and our fur baby!"
"Did not stay at hotel, but had drinks and appetizer in their Bishp Bottle lounge and listened to live music which is during happy hour on Thursday afternoons. So Thursday movie matinee in the Starlight room at the Rose Theatre followed by happy hour at the Bishop Bottle! Perfect day!!! Two block walk!"
"What a fun getaway! I have a little dog and we won’t go anywhere without her , so when a friend told me about the Bishop Hotel we went for it! Not only do they allow dogs, they cater to them. The suite was fabulous, the bed was divinely comfortable, I didn’t want to get out. The location perfect, right downtown but away from any noise. Very quiet. The back patio looks so inviting, we will be back in the warmer weather so we can hang outside. The coffee/Wine Bar was an added bonus, great live jazz in one of the nights we were there."
"Our experience at this hotel fell far short of our expectations, especially considering the price we paid. Despite booking one of the pet-friendly rooms for a weekend getaway with our dog, we found the accommodations lacking in both comfort and cleanliness. At approximately $500 for two nights, the lack of amenities was disappointing. The minibar offerings were overpriced (the wine can be purchased from the local Safeway for around $12, the hotel charged $35), and the room itself felt cramped, with insufficient heating and maintenance issues such as loose light fixtures and dirty kitchen utensils. The overall cleanliness of the room left much to be desired, with dust-covered surfaces, neglected vacuuming, and unsanitary conditions in the bathroom. While the front desk offered a partial refund when we voiced our concerns, we believe a full refund would have been more appropriate given the subpar conditions. Additionally, the hotel charges for parking, adding to the already steep cost of our stay. We recommend exploring alternative lodging options, such as nearby economy hotels or premium establishments, for a better value and higher quality experience. Despite its proximity to local attractions, including restaurants and shops, we cannot recommend this hotel as a worthwhile choice for accommodation."
"Stayed here over a long weekend to celebrate my birthday, and it was exactly what I was hoping it would be! Very clean, comfortable, cozy. The gas stove was the perfect complement to cooler mid-October evenings, and the bed made getting up difficult in the best way. I'll definitely stay again the next time I make the trip up to Port Townsend."
