"Staff needs better training. Security took 3 minutes to open front door with nonfunctional electric key. Staff wasn't aware of neighborhood eateries. They did not have a form needed to send credit card authorization to our company. Would not transfer a paid room to another employee who was not there, and would not be showing up. Wouldn't refund the money for two paid rooms. Had to use company cc to pay for another coworker who was there, and had a reservation put in someone else name erroneously. Receptionist was not helpful, but was quick for the cash grab. Breakfast was late opening and was not worth the $20 charge. I will say l have been a platinum bonvoy for 14 years and this was the worst expierence I have ever had at a Marriott. Staff experience matters. Resolution abilities are essential and needed by Receptionist. 15 rooms in one hotel, and you would think that you would be accommodated, but I was wrong. Shame on this hotel. Not worthy of Marriott name."
"Bathroom dirty with previous guests hair left behind which leaves me to wonder what else might have been on the surfaces that I can't see unappealing to find Dry wall pealing and hanging down in the shower I believe the issue probably has to do with the fan in the bathroom not engaging which I informed the front desk causing extra moisture Sink cracked was informed it was being replaced Not sure if it was the room below me the the hallway or the central air unit, but a loud vibrational sound occasionally would come on and wake me up and I could feel the sound The room has potential but the finish work wasn't the best The bed was fine Valets were great. Hard-working men bartender was excellent. Nice gentleman Staff was kind Decent gym Any future hesitation I might have using this hotel has to do with cleanliness of the room"
"Gorgeous hotel! Our room, 613 is the best one, 6th floor. We will definitely be back. The negatives we listed below aren’t a deal breaker to not return. The pluses: Things that are important to us that this room had; spacious room, big bathroom, seating area, amazing view overlooking the waterfront (2 windows in room 613), really comfortable bed. This hotel room has all of it! The minuses: These things are important to us that it didn’t have; a bathtub, free breakfast and room service. We were able to call the kitchen and pick up food downstairs though. For the price of the room, breakfast should be included. To be fair it was New Years when we stayed, but people were shooting fireworks right outside the hotel and m-80’s, so it was loud for a bit. Airplanes do pass the hotel fairly often and some are loud but you do get used to them and we didn’t notice the sounds while sleeping. Overall the hotel was fantastic and we will be back! Our favorite was the bed, it was amazing. TIP RESERVING ANY HOTEL: Don’t reserve a hotel through a third party site! Go directly through the hotel because if you have any problems, the hotel won’t remedy issues because you didn’t book through them. We only made that mistake 1 time!!"
"Cons: The valet situation is ridiculous. Even when I called 20 minutes ahead, they hadn’t even left to pick it up yet. Towels were thin, and the rooms could be cleaner. Pros: awesome location! So much within walking distance. Overall a nice hotel"
"What’s the best part of hotel rooms? For me - it’s hotel beds you can rest in. After all, we stay in hotels so that we have somewhere to sleep. I stayed at this hotel on October 29th, I arrived quite late at night and all I wanted was to get in bed and sleep. When I lifted the covers I saw that the BEDDING was DIRTY, it had lots of hairs (not only head hairs) on it and other bits nature of which I didn’t spend much time investigating. It was clear that they didn’t change the sheets!! I went to the reception desk and asked them for a clean set of sheets and said that my bedding was dirty. They did bring me a new clean set of sheets and I made the bed myself, spending precious time I could be sleeping on this task (I had to be up again at 4:30am to catch an early flight). When I unfolded the clean sheets it became even more obvious that the ones on my bed were already used, as the clean ones were so white and had absolutely nothing on them. While the rooms are okay and staff is friendly this kind of experience is forever off putting and extremely not okay. It was dark when I got there and when I was leaving so the photos aren’t the best quality, but they still show how the sheets looked."
