Reviews of OYO Hotel Centralia
"*Definitely read the one star reviews *Worst hotel in Centralia…. Dirty beds, the top blankets are never washed, pillows re-used, carpet sticky and wet.. Bathroom disgusting. Also the mattress is filled with bed bugs!!! Also if you look hard enough I am sure you will find needles… Fire hazards like crazy. Worst hotel in town. “House keepers”/ front desk are a disgrace. No body takes any pride in their job here, check the rooms you’ll see. You have to give a $100 CASH deposit that will be traded for fake $100 bills & handed back to you… That is IF you get it back. OR They pocket the deposits and will blame you for something you did not do. As I stated read the one star reviews. 5+ are all fake reviews."
"In my opinion this place is crooked. They refused to return my deposit. So don't forget to check out with the front desk apparently you forfeit the $100 CASH deposit and according to the lady at the front desk "it is in the fine print of the paperwork that you signed when you check in" my travel companion paid 4 night stay up front there was no damage to the room there was no smoking in a room we were quiet. Deposit is refundable in my experience. Every other hotel that I've ever been to has refunded my deposit whether I had got it that day, I come back for it or it took a week. I still got my deposit back. The way the world is right now these people want to take the little bit of money that you actually have in your pocket way to go. Awesome business tactics."
"By far the worst hotel I have ever been to. Towels were too tiny for even a small person to use. The shower would not keep a warm temperature at all. It kept turning ice cold and couldn’t shower for more than two minutes without it turning cold. The room was pretty empty and didn’t look welcoming at all. The mini fridge had water leak all over the food I had gotten which was annoying. The bed only had two pillows which would normally be ok but not for two people staying in the room. I asked for more extra pillows and towels in the special requests and they were ignored completely. The only thing about this hotel that didn’t make me angry was that there was a Dutch Bro’s down the street. :)"
"Room was filthy upon check in, then charged me $45.00 for a wash cloth and towel I ruined by cleaning the bathroom. No Landry facilities, wifi and phones were cut off due to non payment. Claimed I stained the comforter on the bed, which is funny because my bed never had anything but 1 sheet and 1 blanket. In 3 weeks not once was any of our rooms serviced or cleaned. Rooms smelled like dog pee and co-worker next door had fleas. At least the roaches would massage our feet if we tipped them."
"Pretty awesome experience during our stay! I'm not sure what was more interesting, the sour milk smell in the whole room (one of the staff remarked that they'd "opened the window" when asked if it was ready, so clearly a known problem), the loose change and cigarette butts on the floor of the room, or the hot and cold being reversed in the shower. The big stack of abandoned furniture in the parking lot was a nice touch, and really helped lend the place a nice "serial killer hunting ground" vibe. However, I will say the front desk staff were very helpful and polite. I highly doubt we'll be back but it's through no fault of the reception desk."
