"My experience here was great!!! The hostess was very friendly and full of stories, the room was clean, the bed was big and comfortable, the whole house was just lovely! My only complaint is the lack of cellphone signal and it was a little difficult to find the place. Other than that, I would absolutely recommend staying here for the night."
"My fiance, our baby, and i stay thr night here because of the low cost. 40 dollars a night is not bad at all. I would tell anyone staying here to not have high expectations. Its a pieced together farm home ran by a 81 year old lady. Nora is very kind but it is unfortunate she has to run this place on her own. She has crated chickens in the parking area and there is goose poop EVERYWHERE in the parking entrance. There is alot of random junk all over the property so thr pictures posted are very misleading. The smell is not very inviting either. As we went inside i noticed alot of hoarding piles of random stuff all over the house. The kitchen was super dirty. Lots of dirty dishes left out food. Now when we booked with her she told us we would get a king sized bed and a Jacuzzi bathtub.... I would use both those terms very loosely as our "king size bed" was a pillow top memory foam mattress on two twin beds and the "jacuzzi tub" was a one person tub with no jets. Both rooms were dirty. Our room has a squished spider on the floor and the window was open with flies comming in and the aroma of cow poop coming from outside..... There were cobwebs all over the house and our bathroom was moldy..... On top of that as nice as miss nora be prepared to be stuck in conversation for hours. My fiance and i had not seen eachother for awhile and were looking forward to spending quality alone time together needless to say that barelt happened because nora would not stop talking...... I feel like this would be a nice place to stay if there was an actual maid service there helping nora...."
"When we pulled up, we were approached by a very creepy lady. There was a padlock and chains on the gate out front, a broken down car up on cinder blocks being spotlighted in the Darkness. The lady who I assumed was the owner came out with a flashlight, saying she had been waiting up and was trying to get me into the house being sure that I grabbed all of my bags so I didn't have to go back outside.... I felt very uncomfortable, and unsafe so I told her I was thinking I was just going to go back into town. She continued to try to get me into the house when I refused, she got upset and started waving her flashlight into the darkness almost as to signal somebody.... I immediately pulled out in my vehicle to see her watching me leave.. it was the creepiest place I've ever been would not recommend even driving there.."
"The place was incredibly dirty. We have immediately left the place and got another accommodation. We were nice to the lady but she got angry when we told her that we want to leave. We had to pay $60 cancelation fee as Booking refused to return whole price as the house lady claimed we made the mess. The owner was very strange person."
"This was one of the strangest places, I've ever stayed. Some of the furniture was literal cardboard boxes. It was so dirty, not even a toilet paper holder, just partial rolls of toilet paper sitting on the toilet. There was even a wooden board that was mail across the door that use to lead into the bathroom. There are mirrors (not hung) and some store fixtures sitting randomly in places. The day I was there there were dishes piled high in the sink. There was a big hoarding mess in the living room. no screens on the window, yet the windows were open?! It was like visiting a great aunt who wasn't expecting you and and you're sleeping in the spare room that has been used as a storage room. I feel bad for foreign visitors who come here and think this is normal."
