"Friendly staff and easy check in. Room had new furnishings (end tables, bureau, lighting). Very spacious. Bathroom was nice and clean. Fresh linens and towels. Also have Keurig, microwave, refrigerator. brand new wood/vinyl flooring. Office had assortment of snacks for purchase. My only criticism was I was given room above the office. Sometime around 6:45-7am I could hear staff walking around on the hardwood floor."
"Really amazing at the hospitality and cleanliness here ! I've been coming to long beach every summer for 8 years but this is my time staying at this hotel. I will stay here from now on after this experience. When ariving the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The room was spotless and felt very clean. They have a very strict noise curfew so the nights are very peacful here. The bed was comfortable and there was lots of pillows. Everything about this place was 5 starts. Thank you !"
"The hotel is under new ownership since my last visit in 2018 and it's had a makeover! It looks great! The room looked like a beach cottage, everything was new and clean. Our room faced west. Even though you cannot see the ocean from the hotel we did get evening sun. The room was extremely hot by the time we checked in around 7PM at the end of July. There was no AC in the room but they did have a fan in the room which was fantastic. It was pretty easy to cool the room right down though. The location of the hotel cannot be beat. You are right in town and you are steps away from shops, food and bars. A short walk will get you to the beach as well. Love the location of this hotel and I'm super happy that it's under new ownership. Wish I had taken pictures."
"The first room we were in had a musty smell but after complaining they moved us to a room that smelled better. The bed was pretty firm and the sheets were a little rough.. There is no A/C so you have to rely on a fan to stay cool. Some of the breakfast options have a lot of sodium. This place is doable but does have some cons."
