Sumas Mountain Lodge

"I feel the need to post a review, even though we have 1 more night in the lodge. We are traveling with our 5 year old son. We brought his sleeping bag, just in case, not knowing exactly what the sleeping situation is in our room. We made up a bed on the floor for him with pillows, blankets and his sleeping bag for the first night. He was completely fine with it. We left our room for the day. When we came back in the evening, the hotel staff had brought in a small mattress, all made up and put his sleeping bag on it. We could have had him on the bed, he just kicks a lot. I thought that was such a kind gesture. I highly recommend Sumas Mountain Lodge to anyone traveling to the area. Also, Bob's Burgers and Brew is amazing as well."

"I got stuck with a border system outage trying to import into Canada. Had to spend the night last minute and Sumas lodge helped me out! Very accommodating with parking and friendly service. Beds are very comfortable. Would highly recommend. Thanks again."

"Be AWARE!!!! You may reserve your room and never use it. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! They Charged my card and decided to leave home early!!!!!! Then they put no vacancies sign, should’ve read previous reviews, they did this before. We arrived before 9pm. It said to call ahead for reservations if you arrive after 9pm. Came before 8:30-8:40 no one was at the hotel, can’t reach anyone, no phone for after hours, have to sleep in the car. From the reviews looks like this happened before!!!!!!!!!"

"Such a cute place!! Everything was super clean, the bed was comfortable, the jetted tub was so nice to have in the room. There was also a cute balcony with a little view. Bob's Restaurant had delicious food and great service. We will definitely be going back."

"This was truly my best experience staying in a lodge. The room was spacious, well stocked with toiletry, and clean. The best part was that we booked a room with an amazing Jacuzzi that was inside the room! It was such a remedy to all the hikes we did in Mt Baker. We will definitely come back again!"
