Cocusa Motel 370 West Rio Vista Avenue, Burlington, WA 98233

"Sketchiest place I've ever stayed. You get off the freeway and the first thing you see is a boarded up restaurant. Next thing you notice is the hotel you booked doesn't have any windows. We got assigned our room, room 58, and it's all the way around back. We turn the corner in the parking lot to be greeted by a meth lab looking airstream backed up to the room next to ours. Their is several beat up vehicles and lots of trash around. We go into the room and it seems ok for a cheap room. It was good to see there was a window in the other side of the room, unfortunately it didn't lock. Either did either door without using the deadbolt. This means when you leave anyone can come in the room. I'll definitely stay somewhere else next time. If I had booked or been paying for this room I would have probably went elsewhere. Unfortunately I was staying with a friend that was paying so I wasn't going to make them pay for a different place."

"The room was clean, though it smelled very musty. Two of the four lights in the room didn't work and the blankets were scratchy. The employee at the front desk during check in seemed very inconvenienced and bothered by the fact that my family and I showed up to check in. She was impatient and very snarky, making unnecessary and rude comments to us while we were trying to get checked in. ***Edited to add, my name will not appear on the registry as it appears on Google because I do not include my last name on my Google profile."

"An absolute pleasure to have stayed here. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The rooms are clean and feel like home away from home! Pet friendly and focused on making a great experience for their guests..Love it!!!"

"This is truly one of the last great motels left in America, well worth the price in my opinion. I would describe it as historic, not old. It looks like a regular motel from the outside but from what I saw, all of the rooms have two doors, the entrance from the parking lot and an exit to a balcony that overlooks the pool and a beautiful courtyard. The breakfast was light as they described but they had options I would keep in my own home which is what I appreciate, such as nature's bakery fig bars."

"Every year, we come and visit our family in Burlington, Washington, and we always stay here at this motel. It provides all the amenities. Come to commendate your stay, we're a family of five. The 2nd thing I like about this place We have a gas station, walgreens, food is close by. ac and heating works good! Is a working bathroom no problem great pricing I haven't had an issue with them. It also has a washer and dryer service that you can use This year we're actually here with my mother in law and their kids. We're throwing my daughter's Sweet sixteen not in hotel but at a Ranch"
