Homestead Resort

"A very nice place to stay. Will stay again. Very quiet. Check in was perfect."

"I called the front desk, no one answered. Left message we would be late the voice mail recording said someone would call back. No call. The room had only 1 bed. I asked and paid for 2 beds and a rollaway cot. Had plenty of towels for all of us but no shampoo and used bars of soap were still in the shower and bathroom sink.When we checked out we noticed that the continental breakfast wasn't available."

"It was an easy check in at VI resorts office. The place is very nice. We enjoyed the indoor part of the pool which is also an outdoor pool too! The room is inviting and had a kitchen facility which we used the oven to reheat a chicken pot pie and some other pies. The bedroom with a queen sized bed and very comfortable. The bathroom has a newer bathtub and glass enclosure. All and all it is very satisfactory. What is around here is what we will find out tomorrow. Any case, we could enjoy a steak dinner next door at a steak restaurant. I will do a review of it if we do. And enjoy another time in the pool exercising with our aqua weights. We found out that their fitness center has aqua weights here for guests to use. The building we're staying in has two washers and dryers for guest to use at no charge. Maybe doing a little bit of laundry is in order. My wife asked me to do some for her. So, there is always something to do. The living room has a table and chairs so we can enjoy playing sequence together. Can I beat her or not, that is the question? What fun!"

"We loved the location. The room was well equipped (kitchen had everything we needed to cook at home). Staff respected masking and distancing rules. Resort is older and we had a tough time with the bathroom. We had a studio, the door swing was 1/2” from end of the toilet and there is no room to Manuever easily around to close door while in bath. Really tough for patron with mobility issue. Also,the pool is a long walk away from the resort- it was fall and raining so very cold!"

"We stayed at the Resort, but the one bedroom units, at least on the 1st floor, were very dark ... paint was not bright on the walls nor ceilings, and the windows were only in the bedroom, so there was virtually no natural light in the living room. The inside community area also was kinda dark. The refrigerator was also kinda loud. On a more positive note, the bed was comfortable, there were 2 TVs, stove, sink, and bathroom all worked well. There were a couple hot tubs and pools at the other end of the property. Assorted parks around town were nice."
