"Dr. Mudambi is awesome and very thorough in his job. His nurse Shannon is extremely difficult and very rude. I have specific questions to ask Dr. Madambi and I can never get past her. In person she is short, easily annoyed by questions, and in a hurry to get you out of the room. She needs a vacation, a snickers bar, or to not work with the public. If your kiddos need to be seen , find another clinic. This one is no help"
"We've been seeing Dr. Whitesell for years now and have never had issues with her care. However, trying to actually get the orthopedic clinic to keep appointments and be transparent is another issue completely. Since we are seen regularly, I typically schedule 2-3 months in advance. My son was scheduled to be seen 8/10 at 7:15. I made this appointment on 6/22 and received a confirmation text the Friday before. We drive all the way out to the clinic and no one is there. So I call the next day to see what had happened and was told that the same Friday I received a text reminder, "LJ" called multiple times and left voicemails stating they couldn't keep the appointment. I check my call log and voicemail and have no missed calls and no messages. They state they will escalate the matter to Dr. Whitesell's team and will call me back. I check again to ensure I didn't miss the calls and no, no one called me. They quickly return my call and leave me a voicemail since I'm at work (ironic how I received that call and voicemail and not the other supposed calls made). They state that they no longer have evening clinic and they did in fact call me over and over again to let me know. I'm advised to call the scheduling line and see if they can possibly work me into to a PA instead of his doctor to remedy MY mistake. My mistake? First of all, why would you call the Friday before a Tuesday appointment knowing in advance that you no longer had those clinic hours to reschedule? And why would you not touch base again when you haven't heard back from the patient's guardian? Both parties made me feel as though this was somehow my fault when they were the ones that dropped the ball. I left work early, drove 60+ miles from work to home to the hospital then home again, wasted time and gas to be made to feel like a fool and be brushed off with no apologies or real solution to remedy their error aside from placing the blame on me. I will be making a formal complaint and will unfortunately have to make other arrangements for another orthopedic sepcialist to assume care outside of Multicare. Dr. Whitesell is a phenomenal doctor but this is now the 3rd scheduling issue we have encountered which ultimately effects the care received"
"I do NOT recommend Dr Kelly. I want to preface this by saying that the nurse was incredibly kind and made my daughter feel safe and comfortable however the doctor was really really terrible; by terrible I don't mean rude I just mean a very unprofessional person. He came in was really kind checked her eyes and then said yes I see the problem and then told me she could GO BLIND but we should WAIT 4 months with literally NO treatment plan. I was really confused, could go blind? wait 4 months? I have no knowledge of anything on eyes, but after being told she could go blind I was shocked and really didn't know what to say. He told me very little, didn't tell me a name for what she had or anything. I left feeling incredibly confused and lost. I tried calling the nurse/doctors office a few hours after I left--I tried to give me time to digest the information-- but never received a call back. 2 days later I called and waited on hold for the longest time and then the woman kept hanging up on me. I called back a number of times and every time was hung up on before I could even speak with them."
"Beware to this place. My daughter needed some emotional support so we headed to the ER for simple support. We paid the deductible on our insurance, at that point they made us wait in a room until Doctor came in they chatted and left. About 3 hours later a social worker came to talk. After this we left. No treatment of any kind was given and after that I received the bill over $6000 dollars!"
"I want to start off by saying that Dr. Nicholas Rajacich in pediatric orthopedics was amazing. Very personable and knowledgeable. However, I had to call back after the appointment to get instructions regarding possible activity restrictions for my son to return to daycare. The nurse called back and told me that they had created a note stating that my son could return to daycare. To clarify, I asked if it included any restrictions which is what the daycare needed specifically. She was incredibly sarcastic and replied by saying, “Well he’s 11 months old, so it’s not like he will be swinging on the monkey bars or running around outside. So what do you want me to say he can or can’t do? I don’t know what activities he does there.” She seemed very put off by the request. I responded by explaining that I assumed there would be basic activity restrictions based on his fracture. I suggested that she write that my son needed to keep his brace on and not bear weight on his wrist, to which she agreed. However she went on to say that if the daycare needed anything else they would need to provide a specific list of activities. I don’t think it’s unreasonable to expect a nurse working in pediatrics to know the basic milestones/activity levels of the children who she provides care to, or any basic restrictions based on the common fracture that my son has experienced."
