"Really like this place!! Except we didn't get our deposit back after they came & checked the room & said everything was A-ok..."
"We had an excellent stay at Sunrise Inn Villas and Suites. The rooms were clean and odor free. The beds were comfortable relative to the nightly rate. No complaints. Excellent location. Breakfast and coffee right around the corner. Service was great excellent as well. When we forgot an item after checking out, they promptly mailed it back to us all the way in Alaska. Would definitely recommend."
"SCAM!!! SCAM!!! Please DO NOT stay here. It’s a super dirty room with hair on the bed sheets! Nothing looks like the pictures shown on website. We paid $300/night and the condition is 10 times worse than a motel! Even worse, after we checked out, the front desk lady looked through the room and made sure there’s no damage before we left the place. She said we were all good to go. No damage. So we left. 3 hours later I received an email “damage fee of $300”! One picture showed a cracked wood floor that’s clearly been there for a while. We checked in after midnight and left the next morning. I had no idea where that’s from. We called the office immediately and the guy was so rude. He didn’t want to hear anything; simply said we caused the damage and hung up the phone. We were nearby having lunch so we went back to the office to clarify the damage charges. He shut us outside the office door and wanted to report us trans-passing. I called 911 because the front desk man is super aggressive towards me & my sister. The Anacortes policemen responded right away within minutes after I hung up the phone. They were super supportive. One of the policemen checked out the room and confirmed no damage with a housekeeper inside. This place is the biggest scam ever! DO NOT STAY THERE. Don’t waste your money. If you pay that much a night, there’re tons of better places to stay at."
"Great location, and the rooms look nice. Called front desk because our pillows stunk so bad like body odor and was told nothing they can do because the front desk is closed and I can get new pillows tomorrow. Also no shower curtain so towels were used to keep the floor dry."
"Minimal investment from management to ensure customer satisfaction. Our experience was three fold: First, the heat didn't work in one of the bedrooms of the King Suite we stayed in. They tried to troubleshoot the problem but ultimately it didn't end up getting fixed. When troubleshooting, they mentioned they knew that it didn't work from feedback of a previous customer. They brought a space heater in for a temporary fix and offered us to change rooms. We decided not to change rooms due to the limited amount of time to get our daughter a nap before dinner (having a temporary fix and their promise for maintenance to troubleshoot the heat). After checkout when I called to provide feedback to the manager, they said the circuit breakers had been reset during our stay and "fixed the issue" but we had the heat set on the whole time and it never came back on. Additionally, we scheduled a 1hr late checkout at the time of check-in. However, the next morning the cleaning staff came in regardless of the prior coordination and the do not disturb sign being on the door. Very disruptive as this was the time to get our daughter a nap before traveling. This was especially frustrating since we were not able to get her a nap the afternoon prior due to the heat troubleshooting disturbances. Lastly, when I followed up with them after we checked out to provide feedback and see if they could make up for these inconveniences, the gentleman working the front desk said he didn't have the authority to do anything and that the manager "honestly probably won't call you back". After bringing up these issues with management we haven't received an call or other form of contact back. The quality of our stay was not worth the price paid."
