"Amazing place to relax and lounge around or use as a base camp for exploring orcas. This place has all the amenities you could want for a short or long get away. The owners are super friendly and care a great deal about making sure all guests enjoy their stay. Sol mate is also super close to downtown. It a 60 second walk to the Island Skillet and Mijitas Mexican Kitchen which are both amazing restaurants. Overall, if you are looking to stay anywhere on Orcas Island, definitely try to stay here if you can!"
"Stayed here for 3 nights in early June. The house is perfect. Ideally sited in the main island village of East Sound and walking distance to restaurants, bars, grocery stores and two beaches. The house is new, modern, clean and comfortable. Laura & Jamey have tried to anticipate their guests' needs as the home is well-furnished and appointed. There's ample room inside to lounge and cook and 3 good-sized bedrooms. Outside a deck wraps around a corner of the house with a sofa and chairs. There's plenty of variety in activities on Orcas including hiking, swimming, shopping and boat tours. Recommended!"
