"I've been seeing Penny Tanner for years. While I appreciated her management of my mental health prescriptions, her manner and the things she says make me feel uncomfortable. I'm not returning because of an unethical billing practice. I needed to pick up paperwork for a lawsuit as a victim of a violent crime, and the front desk staff made me an appointment to do that when I didn't need one. On the day I went in, I said I didn't need to see Penny just to pick up paperwork, the front desk person said ok. I made another appointment for April and left. At no time did the front desk staff tell me I would be charged a late cancelation fee. If she had told me that, I would have stayed for the appointment instead of electing to pay over double my regular copay. I can't recommend their office anymore. If she had told me of that punitive charge, I would have stayed for the appointment. I had to pay the egregious amount in order to stay out of collections, but I won't return."

"I made an appt and when I was unable to fill paperwork out online due to their outdated system, I went to the office too fill out the paperwork, but they close for 2 days a week to do virtual appointments so I'm being punished and charged $150 to $250 for not canceling 48 hrs in advance when I called and said I was having problems. I do not recommend anyone with this business practice."

"disclaimer this is not my personal experience but a friend’s story who had regular appointments with Dr. Tanner and they recently had to part ways. If I could give zero stars I so wonderfully and with grace would. Dr. Tanner would constantly prescribe a new medication even though they felt uncomfortable with the types of meds and felt like their diagnosis didn't fit. When speaking up about their issues and wanting to see a therapist on top of seeing Dr. Tanner, Dr. Tanner felt it was best for them to part ways and didn't like that they wanted a second opinion. They described wanting to not be dependent on medication forever and seeking out a therapist for healthy coping practices. Dr. Tanner chose to blame their genetics and ignore any shared trauma while saying that therapist won't see the medicinal side of treatment. They also got diagnosed without any paper screenings being turned in as well."

"Dr.Tanner and her staff were extremely kind and patient. She helped my mom out when she was not doing so well and for that I am forever grateful. Dr.Tanner is also a really good listener, my situation with my mother was very complicated and she sat through my long explanation and gave us some phenomenal insight. Now my mom is doing way better than she was before and med management and refills is easy as well. I highly recommend this place for anyone seeking mental health needs."

"First impression when I walked through the door was very inviting and the staff is very friendly. Both Doctors are very friendly. Penny Tanner is a great listener and I have witnessed the lives she has changed over the years. She has helped me in my life as well. On both a professional and personal side, she is an awesome person to know."
