Walmart Vision & Glasses

"Had appointment to get tested for glasses as did not come to have eyes examined as I already had my eyes examined Aug. 2023 in Seattle. But walmart port orchard WA, wanted to do eye exam bc my insurance would pay them IT WAS NOT NEEDED. I NEEDED GLASSES only no full eye exam needed. I was supposed to have someone on internet do this eye exam, but when I saw the contraptions they use on eyes I said I did not want BRIGHT LIGHT SHINED IN MY EYES AS LIGHT HURT THEM. I TOLD THE PERSON WHO MADE MY APPOINTMENT WITH I HAD EYE EXAM ALREADY ONLY NEEDED GLASSES. WALMART WANTED ME TO HAVE FULL EYE EXAM TO BE PAID FOR EVERY THING & NO DOCTOR IS IN WALMART ONLY ON INTERNET. THE GIRL AT WALMART LEFT EXAM ROOM & WENT TO TELL WHO EVER WAS SUPPOSE TO DO INTERNET EYE EXAM NOT TO DO EXAM I COULD HEAR HER SPEAKING ON PHONE. I HAD COME 2 WEEKS PRIOR TO EYE TESTING & FILLED OUT INFORMATION, BUT ON DAY OF APPOINTMENT I HAD TO FILL OUT MORE NONSENSE. IT DOES NO GOOD TO COME IN PRIOR TO APPOINTMENT AS more WILL NEEDED TO BE FILLED OUT ON DAY OF APPOINTMENT. WASTE OF TIME NO DOCTOR IS IN WALMART TO TEST EYES & ALL WALMART WANTS IS TO CHARGE INSURANCE ALL THEY CAN!"

"Went in for repair on frames which Deb did beautifully While there I decided to purchase some prescription sun glasses. Deb helped pick out frames then suggested I get the gray tint instead of brown. That was a wonderful suggestion. I love them so clear. When I picked them up CJ assisted me she was very pleasant and friendly. Overall wonderful service. Not my first pair from here I will return again"

"Had a good experience. Debra was very helpful and patient. Greeted us right when we walked in. Helped us determine what kind of frames would fit my daughter. Then gave us time to figure out what frames my daughter wanted. Debra was knowledgeable and answered all my questions. Left there with more knowledge about glasses then when I came in with."

"Wife had broken eyeglasses & needed lenses transferred to new frames for temporary fix. I think within 30 minutes she'd already picked out alternate frames similar to original, they transferred the lenses without any problem plus very quickly & we were gone relatively quickly with sale under $20 for new frames! Greatly appreciate it, if we go shopping for new eyeglasses & lenses we'll definitely return here!!!"

"This Store is conveniently located. Not too far from SR16. Highly visible from Bethel Road. Plenty of parking and plenty of handicapped spaces as well. After getting my prescription from a local eye Doctor we decided to give Walmart Vision and Glasses a try. What a wonderful Team of professionals. When we arrived we were received by Nicholas Sleigh, Caroline "CJ" Merkel and Deborah Fordyce. We were warmly received and quickly had three options of frames picked out. I picked Oakleys and my wife picked Baby Phat frames. We felt this wonderful positive energy. The Team is diverse with different cultural backgrounds but they worked together patiently so we could chose the right fit. The fourth Team member is Luz Vallejo. Her input and knowledge was so helpful. After ordering our glasses came in within 3 to 4 days. Incredibly fast. My wife and I ordered glasses. My wife ordered 2 and I ordered 1. Pricing is comparable to other places. Some reviews say that it was overpriced. If you can't afford glasses don't buy them. They broke down the charges for us and we knew what to expect. No surprises. Bottom line, if you are in the Port Orchard, WA general vicinity don't hesitate to give Walmart Vision a try. We will certainly return if we need anything in the future. We highly recommend this Store. I assure you, you will not be disappointed. Thank You Team for such a wonderful and memorable experience. You Rock. A very satisfied customer"
