The Everett Clinic Urgent Care

"THIS CLINIC REFUSED ME MEDICAL TREATMENT BECAUSE I DIDNT HAVE ANY MONEY. The lady at the front desk was rude from the moment I walked up to her desk. Couldn't find my insurance, offered me no guidance as to how to set up state insurance (as a walk in clinic, all staff are equipped with knowledge to do this to support walk in patients of lower incomes), told me I needed to pay $185 deposit in order to be seen! And prior, as I walked up on a crutch with my foot wrapped she said "so what do you need today?". What do you NEED TODAY?!. I said I just need some xrays, I want to check for broken bones in my ankle. Her eyebrows did this raise, her lipsed pursed and she said "mm. Ok?" Not excruciating, I know, but her whole demeanor, the way she looked me up and down before I sat down, the way she spoke to me, and then tells me they can't see me because I can't pay $185 deposit for the visit and offered some list of clinics that "might be able to" help me. So, I left, in literal tears, intense pain, I WAS TURNED AWAY BY A WALK IN CLINIC! A WALK IN CLINIC FOR LOW INCOME INDIVIDUALS!! Spent 30 min in the parking lot trying to navigate the insurance company, got it settled, and then had to go to the hospital. Because again A WALK IN CLINIC, THAT ACCEPTS STATE MEDICAID, TURNED ME AWAY FOR NOT HAVING $185 TO PAY AS A DEPOSIT FOR MY CARE. THIS CLINIC REFUSED ME MEDICAL TREATMENT BECAUSE OF MONEY."

"Everett clinic is the worst clinic I have ever seen. The staff are ok but the whole system the call optum is just thinking about money and not the patient. I will not go to Everett clinic at all their billing system is broken and also the answering calls with lots of delay. They make mistake and ignore patients. Do not go there find care somewhere else."

"Longest wait at a walk in clinic EVER!!! Only 3 people in the fancy waiting area. Took 2 hrs for them to finally see me. Copay gets collected ahead of time. If you step out or aren't there when they call your name you lose your spot in line. If you walk out they keep your copay. Their webpage advertises short wait times. What a joke!"
