"Unfortunately I really hoped for the best. However, my first appointment, they charged me a $10 copay which is totally expected. Later that afternoon, they tried to charge my card a $250 charge even though my insurance covers my sessions and deductibles had been met hence the copay. No communication from them whatsoever as to why. Then they tried to charge me $50 ten minutes later. Luckily I keep my card locked until I know I will be using it. Again, never heard back as to why and my account never showed owing. Following month, they charged me my $10 copay for an appointment I cancelled a week prior. A month later, they charged me a $50 for reason “No payment due”. Both charges went through as I was planning on using my card coincidentally. Looked at my Peninsula account to see why, only to find I am still owing a $40 no show fee. I called Silverdale location and no answer. Called Port Orchard location and there was no explanation as to why this happened and it must have been a billing error. The woman (who was kind but confused) said they would work on a $60 refund and clearing my account. 2 weeks later, no updates and hard to get ahold of anyone. I want to go here but cannot afford random fees for the fun of it with no explanation as to why."
"The doctor for my intro eval quit the week after my first appointment and charged me overtime for the time he spent on technical issues. Then they had me schedule another intro appointment and charged me for that too. Racking up almost $1,000 in medical bills with no positive outcome or care for me whatsoever. I've been calling them every week for six months to try and clear up the issue. Every time they tell me something different. There was a billing error that they're fixing, there wasn't a billing error, someone's going to call me in a week, it might take awhile to figure out. I'd be so happy to get out of this situation without being totally scammed but at this point I just want to be done with it and know if they're going to send my bill to collections or not. I just want a straight answer. It's been one of the most stressful and infuriating medical experiences I've ever dealt with and it really makes you feel powerless in the face of our horrible medical system. It's ironic that taking the first step of seeing a psychiatrist to improve my mental health has actually led to my mental health deteriorating."
"I haven't even tried this place, nor do I intend to, seeing as how they can't be bothered to answer a phone call. I briefly considered coming here to fulfill a pressing one-time obligation, but looks like I'll be going anywhere except here, after reading multiple reviews! People posted many different examples of negligence and apathy, and I noticed alarming trends in the responses: 1.) They were carbon copy identical- "We pride ourselves... ... Blah, blah, blah,... Call the main office, blah blah blah.." Not a single point of contact or phone number to call. 2.) Worse yet, not the slightest attempt to accept ownership or responsibility for any of the hardships they are placing on these patients. Thankful I'm able to choose elsewhere!"
"I thought I was the only one having these issues. There is a complete disconnect between this entire office. I noticed this initially but I thought I would give the office some grace. It’s just been one thing after another. Complete chaos. Today was my last straw with this facility. I have had a standing appointment for a couple months weekly at the same time and then all of the sudden they just stopped. I message my providers team, nothing. Left a message asking about my appointment and got a call back from someone asking why I was calling. Mind you just a couple minutes earlier I received the text that appointment had just been scheduled for the next day. When I talked to the gentleman on the phone he was completely lost and extremely sarcastic about my appointments. I told him I could see he just scheduled the appointment because I just got the message after I left my voicemail and he ignored that. It’s unfortunate that each of these complaints get the same generic response and clearly nothing different is done. They say to contact the facility for help. I’m sorry but have you talked to anyone at this facility? That is the last thing that could help them out. This is not the place you want to trust for your mental health needs. An absolute chaotic mess from beginning to end."
"What is with using the same tautological response to every patients comments in regards to the treatment they received? That's just so condescending and impersonal. I'd been receiving call after call from this office saying that they are trying to get a hold of me. Since I'm not due for any Dr. visits I was wondering what was the urgency. I asked why they were calling me three times a day. What is it in regards to? They said that it was to set up a mental health appointment. This is weeks after I had said that I'd like to see one of their Mental health professionals. I did not want to see a counselor or therapist. I wanted a psychologist or psychiatrist, at least for the initial visit. I was told that they only had a psychologist who prescribes meds, not anyone for ongoing care. Well, than, this is not what I needed. Reading these comments today pretty much helped me with my decision not to pursue with this place for my mental health care needs. I'd have been so frustrated if I had wasted the time to try & get help, just to sit in the waiting room....until everyone left because my appointment was forgotten! This has happened to me several times with other low income facilities. They acted like them messing up was MY fault. No apologies, led me to not make any more appointments with them. I really don't think they were to heartbroken. Thank you for sharing your comments. When you are suffering from anxiety, depression, and other mental health issues....you don't need the added frustration of being ignored or overwhelmed trying to get help! It does not seem that this place has improved at all in the last 5+ years either. Bummer. No need for you to give me the same lame response. It would mean absolutely nothing to me. If you cared, you'd have been able to come up with something a tad more compassionate, & not so repetitive."
