"Dr. Morruzzi is the best Fertility Doctor in the Pacific Northwest. I have a lot to say about Dr. Moruzzi, but first some background. My wife and I had been struggling with infertility for around 3 years. We first sought help from a large fertility clinic in Portland. Long story short, they are a money factory, don't go there. We tried another doctor in the Portland area who gave us good advice that led to a diagnosis and a surgery. However after we still couldn't get pregnant and his approach seemed stagnant. We heard about Dr. Morruzi through a family friend and decided to make an appointment with him. Our first appointment was long, and he was running late. I think we waited at least 45 minutes past our appointment time to even meet with the embryologist Jeff. We were frustrated and wondered if this was going to be worth our time. Then we met with Dr. Moruzzi himself. In that first appointment he spent more time with us than any previous doctor had around 2 full hours I think. He gathered as much information about our case as he could, asking questions no other doctor had ever asked before. We immediatly liked him and his incredibly involved approach to our care, we could tell he would go above and beyond the normal for us. Following that we immediatly dived into IVF, gearing up for an egg retrieval. I think this was right around Thanksgiving of 2022. We ended up having a question, and Moruzzi called us from his office on Thanksgiving to answer our question. The man is litterally in his office 7 days a week from 9 in the morning sometimes to 9 at night. We've gotten phonecalls from him at 7, 8, and 9pm. He does his very best to be there for his patients at all times. He helped us with finding dicounts and some of the best suppliers for IVF medicines. He resells unused medications from other patients at half price, he's really there for you as much as he possibly can be. He also listens. We did our own research and proposed a unique therapy protocol for our last embryo transfer. He didn't treat us like idiots, he read the articles we brought, and looked through his own collection of articles as well. That's another thing about him, he's not stuck in the past. He once told us he was excited about reading up on medical journals on his upcoming vacation. His practice is his life and he devotes most of his time to it, and he really cares about his patients. The downside? Well you are going to have to wait. He typically runs around 40 minutes behind schedule. Expect this and plan for it, and you will be fine. Your appointment might get bumped to a different time. Why? Because he has other patients, and the timing for Egg retrieval isn't precise, so he may have to move appointments in order to make sure egg retrievals get done on time. Egg retrievals take priority, they represent thousands of dollars of investment, pain, and time, they take priority. Another thing that can be irritating is the staff seem to rotate a lot. We've seen a few different faces go through there in the year we've been seeing him. Some of them are awesome, some not so awesome, but its worth putting up with the headache. In the end we are grateful to Dr. Moruzzi, because my wife is currently 15 weeks pregnant with our baby boy. I firmly believe that Dr. Moruzzi is the best fertility doctor in the northwest, he is kind, attentive, and he knows what he's doing. If you are struggling with infertility please give Dr. Moruzzi a chance, he gave us hope, and a chance at a family."
"Dr. Moruzzi is hands down amazing. At this rate, he isn't do this as a career but a passion for helping people have families. Sometimes, the wait for an appointment is a little longer than expected but it's because when you are with Dr. Moruzzi you are receiving his uninterrupted attention, going over every detail of your treatment, next steps, and your questions. He has called late at night to check in on our treatments, and squeezed us in on weekends when necessary. He genuinely cares about his patients. Dr. Moruzzi and his staff are the best, we recommend them to anyone seeking affordable fertility advice."
"Went there for my ultrasound. Waited 20 minutes past my appointment then waited 35 minutes pants less waiting on doctor. When I went to check on where my Dr. Mourizzi was at, I saw him in a room and said hey, he then aggressively told me to go check with the receptionist. He was mad about being the only Dr on site."
"If you are worried about long wait times then maybe don't become a patient here. Personally, becoming pregnant is something I am willing to spend an extra few hours a day in a waiting room for. The affordable prices here make it worth it- otherwise fertility treatments for us would be unobtainable. There is only one doctor so his schedule is packed, it is clear all his patients get his undivided attention while with him. I can't get mad that my appointment is running behind because a pregnant woman needed to be seen for an emergency or a baby was being delivered. Just kinda takes understanding and patience. That being said, the staff is friendly and I prefer Dr Moruzzi's quirks over the coldness of other doctors at Seattle's big fertility clinics. I would recommend them if you can be chill."
"I chose Olympia Fertility because the price range was far more realistic than that of Seattle Reproductive. I imagine this is why they are overwhelmed with patients. I was informed of the wait times and so I knew what I was getting into. I have to say I have not waited longer than an hour which is normal for any Obgyn. I also have been in 3 times last month and 6 times this month. They are extremely accommodating. The doctor sits and talks to you, answering all questions and easing concerns. That from a doctor is priceless. The team is very friendly and make you feel welcome and comfortable during a very sensitive time. All in all I find this Journey far easier with this team by my side and I would recommend them to anyone."
