"I have only seen Dr hiltz once so far but I can honestly say that I had a great visit with him and will follow up next week. He asked me a lot of questions and was patient with my answers. I did not feel rushed at all. He thoroughly explained things to me as well. I was nervous about seeing a new doctor but I left his office feeling relieved. He is very professional and I could tell he cares about his patients. He also picks up on the things that are not being said by observing body language which I felt was impressive and a good sign at how long he has been in his profession. I would highly recommend him."

"Refused to talk to my close friend about billing issues. When they did speak they have been rude and sarcastic! My friend has severe depression and this is absolute abuse!"

"Thank the gods he's retiring. He loves to hear himself talk, asking you questions then twisting your words to hear what ever he wants to hear. After our first visit, even he was surprised I showed back up after the rude, narcissistic behavior he displayed. You cannot get a word in edgewise and he never wants to talk about the reasons you're seeking medical attention. He does not take into consideration that your issue could be an actually chemical imbalance in your brain or maybe is't situational and your just having a bad day. His solution to every problem is prescriptions. I'm sure the pharmaceutical rep he has just loves having Dr. Hiltz as a client. I'm sure he makes them a lot of money. Let's not forget how easily he brushes away your concerns as though they mean nothing. YOU, sir, may have seen this symptoms in other patients, but this is new and scary to me. I constantly left his office feeling more anxious than I did walking in."

"Not "Poor-fair" - it's POOR! In a few words, my experience with Mr William F Hiltz was : horrible, disgusting, nauseating and upsetting. (no)Thanks to him, I left in tears. These are all my opinions. I hope they may steer others in a better direction. (Any other direction might be better). I think this poor man might benefit from a lesson in psychology. He: Lacked any pretense of patience, or care. Was visibly bothered by my opinion & was not interested in relevant logs detailing sleep duration, meds, bedtime, etc. Is rude and condescending: "you seem to know it all" and "you have it all figured out, don’t you?" Is this psychiatry in action? Refusing the case, he points and says ~there is the door~ ~this case may interfere with my retirement~ I pity the fool that buys his practice. Made a diagnosis of bi-polar without nearly enough discussion; I felt very rushed, ignored and that anything I might offer was insignificant and irrelevant. Appears to want mindless compliance with Rx for Seroquel and Lamictal. His complete lack of eye contact and his seemingly forced initial handshake gave me immediate pause. Based only on a handshake, however premature ~No! Not this man!~ was the immediate, superficial, yet 100% correct conclusion. IMO this man NEEDS to retire, yesterday. How is "unprofessional conduct" defined? I know how to define rude. I'd drive 100 miles before seeing anyone associated with that practice again. Clear enough?"
