"I am limited to travel, you are saying i have to go to gig harbor but i don't have the resources too. Every doctor clinic says "oh sorry were not accepting you patients but you can contact so and so..You do realize EVERY PCP on this county is not accepting new patients? I've been stuck without medication for months and i cant even see a doctor. its really so scary i just want to speak to a doctor and there's literally nothing. The worst part about it was i was a previous patient with them until my doctor left"
"Have been a patient here over 2 years my primary doctor left tried to call and get a new doctor but they refused. Said I would have to go to gig harbor. I highly recommend finding a different provider than Multicare poor customer service."
"Michael Slentz had been my PCP for 2.5 years. Plusses: 1. He LISTENS to you and answers your questions - thus you want to take his advice. He takes as long as needed; or if you want a quick in-and-out, he's happy to oblige. 2. The above saved my life in 2023 and I am forever grateful. 3. Works with insurers, employers, etc. Gets their ridiculous paperwork done without complaint. 4. A pleasure to visit even when talking about serious subjects that will affect your life forever. Minuses: a. MultiCare makes it hard to ask questions and schedule visits due to their multiple locations and centralized staff handling logistics---BUT the staff is so helpful and friendly that dropping by the front desk has always produced results. Verdict: If you can get him to take you as a patient, be thankful! Don't complain, the office has to be one of the best in North Central Kitsap"
"I recently became a patient at MultiCare Poulsbo after my previous doctor left their practice and I was looking for a new PCP. While I did need to wait a few months for a new patient appointment, everything has gone smoothly since then. Appointments are on time and well-run, staff is in sync with each other and uses technology well, my provider listens to me and communicates clearly about follow-up, and they have an in-house lab which is convenient. I also find their MyChart system to be better than most patient portals I have used. Very happy to be a patient here, and now my husband is switching to go here as well!"
"Tried making an appointment - backlogged over a month. Canceled on me after I made an appointment... they didn't call or warn about it. They sent me a confirmation anyways. I showed up, there were no patients in the office... it was a snow day. They claimed they had no doctors available... Again... there was no patients or cars in the parking lot. I was the only patient they had... They did not check to see if there was any availability that day after I asked. The staff quickly became agitated and started blaming me for their lack of communication. I informed them I got it confirmation a day prior... they stated the appointment was already cancelled... after I confirmed it... These people are rude and don't want to work... Please don't give them your money. Let them rot like they want us to. Thanks."
