Reviews of Hadlock Veterinary Clinic
"The vets and staff here are AWESOME! They've been there for my pets in two emergency situations. One kitten with a very fractured leg and my momma cat's very fractured jaw. Always on top of my pets health with sending notifications about yearly check ups, vaccinations etc. I highly recommend this place."
"Spectacular service by Dr. Dana and the staff. We brought our sick girl into the office after being away from them for several years. Dr Dana and the staff treated us and our girl with love and empathy. It was time for Sadie to cross the rainbow bridge and it was performed with love and understanding. I cannot state how much their treatment of us and our girl at the most devastating time meant to us. The cost was extremely reasonable as well. THANK YOU Hadlock Vet staff for everything.... Jim, Gus, and Sadie"
"I don't write many reviews, but Hadlock Veterinary Clinic is amazing! My pup became ill when she was with my parents and we were in Canada. I was able to give authorization to the team to evaluate and treat and the vet even called me with an update at the time of the visit. Their team responds within a timely manner to questions/refills and I was so impressed that I received a call today by a vet tech to check in and see how my pup as doing. This was followed by a call by the vet herself to further assess and determine next steps. I am so very impressed with the care, compassion and follow-up. Impressive as I know vets are so very busy these days. We visit the Port Hadlock area regularly so Hadlock Vet will now be our vet of choice on that side of the water. Highly recommend!"

"I’ve always really liked this vet office, always thought they wanted the best for my animals, but after my recent visit I couldn’t be more disappointed and more disgusted. My dog had gotten stepped on my a horse and gotten a road rash that then turned into a laceration after she had been licking it…. I simply asked them for their opinion on the wound I knew that it shouldn’t be stitched and it wasn’t big enough to need surgery. I was hoping to get antibiotics for her and maybe get an idea of how to get my dog to stop licking the wound. With the horses that I have I’m used to doctoring wounds and I know when you can stitch and when you can’t. They suggested that my dog needed to be “sedated for the appointment” which is odd because anyone who knows my dog knows how obedient and sweet she is. They claimed they couldn’t get a good look at the wound but then proceeded to say that my dog needed “emergency surgery and that she needed to be intubated with a catheter and the area needed to be stitched with a drain tube.” Then proceeded to quote be anywhere from $800-$1600 for the surgery. I said absolutely not. They then offered to have me continue cleaning the wound but send my dog home with antibiotics. Like I wanted to begin with. The appointment alone with a rabies vaccine and and antibiotics was $300. Two days later my dogs leg is healing up really nicely, she’s walking great and in high spirits. Had I not been educated as I am I could see that appointment going a completely different way. All I got out of that appointment is that this office was out for the money, especially if they were willing to put my already distressed dog through an unnecessary surgery."
