"I have a gym membership at Anytime Fitness, but have been considering switching to the Y because I’ve heard they have great classes. (despite not being 24 hours which I like for my currently erratic schedule) I bought a day pass to “trial” the Y… However, after witnessing a tyrant of a manager on the floor demeaning her staff members and displaying rude and unprofessional behavior, I’ve decided to not get a membership. Observing Tracy I’ve decided this isn’t somewhere I’d want to work out, nor was it a positive environment with her negativity bringing the vibe down. I don’t like watching people in power demean and disrespect employees and guests alike. I’m shocked that someone with such unprofessional behavior is in a senior position and in a family-friendly environment. Shocking, and equally horrifying. If in the future I find that she’s no longer employed here- my partner and I look forward to getting a membership. For now- I recommend that senior managers review tapes and complaints against Tracy because she is a liability. I’d be surprised if you don’t already have complaints piled up."

"Wonderful YMCA… very friendly staff, positive atmosphere and tons of classes to sign up for…many of them free with membership. Great place to go workout and to see positive folks while staying in shape and having fun. We were here in Hoquiam for 3 months on job assignment and we are so thankful that we joined the Y. Thanks"

"I stop here as often as I can in a week. I try fitting in a routine after work. A huge part in my daily self care is taking time to relax in their sauna and steam room. The staff at this YMCA are so friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend to people looking for family fun as they have a great pool area and mom and dad can chill at the hot tub. Also to anyone looking for a good work out they have the gear. Come out and enjoy."
