"Truly wish I had had a better experience here. With two bulging discs and degenerative discs, I had spent the last year trying to get better and was finally feeling ready to start physical therapy after receiving a steroid shot a few months ago. The therapist who had a somewhat cavalier demeanor dismissed my offer to look at the MRI and said it doesn't matter, and even though I stressed I can be in a lot of pain when my back does go out, he continued to stretch me. I felt fine when I left first appointment a week ago, but the next morning could barely walk. Been in constant pain since then. My pain level went from a 4 or so to an 8 or 9 and it is impossible to sit at my desk. I cannot stand straight and it is excruciatingly painful just to bend down to pick up my dog's output, I even have to kneel on both knees because I cannot reach. With rest and light activity such as swimming I know I will be better in a few weeks or sooner. It is just disappointing to feel like I went several steps back here. In the future will suggest that if a patient needs to go super slow and has a long history of pain, to try and suggest very basic exercises to start and to not overstretch them. I'm wondering if maybe a nerve got pinched or if it was just bad luck."
