"I have been going to White Salmon Eyecare now for three years. Dr. Baldwin and the team are professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. I'm usually in a big hurry and they are patient with me! I love handmade wood frames and they helped me find frames out of Portland that were exactly what I was looking for. They also helped me understand the best frames and lens for mountain biking and backpacking. I'm super excited for my new glasses!"

"Very disappointed!!! Short Version- Waited over a month, no communication, no new glasses. Long Version- Ordered new glasses 8/24. Was told they would call when they came in. After 10-days I called to find out ETA, was told the following Thursday, they will call when they come in. No call, so I call on Fri, was told maybe Mon or Tues, they will call when they come in. No call, so went in to the shop. Was told there was a flaw in a lense and had to remake them, will call me in a week when they come in. It is now 9/23. No call, so I called and was told there was another flaw and they would have to remake them, again. I said I would like my money back. Manager said "I will cancel your order and ASK if the owner will refund your money". "Ask", I said?!?!? So, at present I have no glasses, no paperwork/prescription to get new glasses ordered, and I must wait until Monday to "ASK" the owner if he will refund my money. (I'm betting he won't call me first). Up-date from 9/24 review - I was contacted on Monday morning by a pleasant and professional woman who offered a sincere apology. She offered to immediately refund my money but, if I would allow them another chance she believed she could have the glasses in her shop by Wednesday. I agreed, and on Wends she called (twice) to confirm that they would be ready and waiting for me. When I arrived they were exactly as ordered and in addition, I was given a check in an amount representing a significant discount of my original purchase price. This was unexpected and appreciated. Things go wrong and people have bad days. Thank you for recognizing the errors, apologizing for them and quickly resolving the issue. Im very impressed that you turned this around so quickly. Im convinced now that my earlier experience is not the norm and that delivering good communication and customer service is how you prefer to operate."
