"I stayed here for 12 days and it was just what I needed to get my mind on track and I learned a bunch of coping skills and all of the staff were so sweet and helpful and would lend an ear when you needed one and offered great advice as most of the staff have been in the same position in the past . Once I left this place I genuinely missed it and the workers because it had me on a good routine and schedule."

"If you understand that this place is voluntary and you have to be decent to the staff (there is no tolerance for verbal abuse), that there can be a time delay on getting what you need, and are needing a place to stabilize from mental health or from drug use this is an excellent place. Downsides are there is no smoking and there can be a day or two wait on what you might need depending on staff situation. Upside, Great friendly and attentive staff that will listen to your needs and even give you an ear to talk to about issues when they have a moment. Food isn't the best at meal time (but what places are really?), however there are snacks and beverages accessible at any time. The individual who did my assessment and prescription was the first person in 25 years of mental health issues that I felt actually listened to me. After a laundry list of failed medications he prescribed me something that actually worked for the first time in my life, and he actually listened to me with consideration instead of being dismissive and forceful like other doctors have been in the past. The television rooms are comfortable, there are plenty of books and puzzles in the main area. There was a little confusion at first about my dietary restrictions but being consistent talking to them they made sure to take care of me. I only had one issue with a staff member the entire time there and they were extremely new so I talked out my concerns with the program director and I feel confident they were addressed. You have to be able to do a little advocacy for yourself when there, as you should in any place similar. I felt safe and listened to here, I really felt heard, which never happened anywhere else. Honestly my biggest gripe was no smoking which really isn't that big of a deal with the amazing experience I had here. If I ever need a place to stabilize again in the future I would definitely return."

"I was just released yesterday to a Very nice hotel that they payed for. I am now stable. I stayed for 11 days. This place is truly God- sent. The best care I've ever received. I came in suicidal. Today I am alive in Christ. The staff are wonderful. Supportive, caring, attentive, genuine, loving, kind,....Christ-like. Yes a place like this exists. No judgment, just love. I recommend this mental health retreat to all who feel hopeless and afraid. You are not alone. most amazing things happend."

"I was told my insurance was covered before admitting myself. I asked 2 separate people multiple times. They assured me that my insurance was covered. I was there not even a day and a half when they pulled me into the office to tell me I had to leave because my insurance was not covered there. They told me the ONLY option was to go somewhere where their copay was $750 a day. Or go home. Mind you I was in a horrible place. I was trying to kill myself multiple times a day before admitting myself. They knew the risks yet I had to be discharged. Thankfully I was able to figure out a place to go with some financial help but I almost lost my life."
