"I saw Scott regarding a bump on my back, it was hard and would cause my hip to go numb. Scott told me it was nothing more than a knot in my muscle that needed to be rubbed out. I talked to my husband and we both agreed it didn’t sound right. I went to see an occupational therapist for a routine VA appointment regarding my disability, she said it didn’t see right. I then go back to Scott and he scoffs at the fact that an occupational therapist disagreed with him and said, “if it means anything to you I don’t think it’s anything to worry about,” and then walked out of the room. I was able to get a biopsy referral from my OB after talking to her about it and learned that it was (thankfully) a non-benign lipoma. Though the outcome was good, Scott blatantly dismissed my concerns as well as another doctor’s concerns that it could’ve been lymphoma. Personally, it should’ve been a red flag from the start that he has his own practice and has a fairly open schedule compared to other doctors in the area. From this entire situation, Ive gathered that Scott likely doesn’t work well with other doctors and that is a red flag in and of itself. I won’t ever trust him with mine or my family’s care again. Edit to respond to their response - The only thing I lacked on was getting an X-Ray for my knees which didn’t resolve anything because I said it was my left knee bothering me most, not my right. You offered PT on my right knee when I still can’t fully extend my left. Scott didn’t do a single thing to help my back issue nor my knee issue. Thanks for your petty, unprofessional response, though."

"I love, love, love the personalized care that Gig Harbor Primary Care provides. I always feel uniquely heard and have received top notch medical advice. Recently, I got my 10-year-old daughter in for a same-day appointment, not only did they stay late, we were personally walked to a near by imaging center to ensure prompt (and appropriate) care. I recommend this practice to everyone."

"I am beyond disgusted with this medical clinic. As a healthcare provider myself, I expect excellence. This clinic was recommended and were encouraging on the phone when we were looking to set up an appointment for our young adult son. We requested specifically a physical and blood work as our insurance directed us to establish a primary provider and to work toward answering some concerns regarding our son’s health. Zach was reassuring on the phone and had a positive conversation with my son which gave him ease to make the appointment for Dec.11,2023. . We informed them of the need for a physical as insurance covers that plus blood work. We all breathed a breath of fresh air as it seemed we had found a medical provider that would care about our son’s complaints, receive a physical and with blood work to begin sorting out his complaints. Well we got what you get when you assume!! Our son called from his appointment very upset as he felt dismissed and told us they were going to refer him to a GI specialist and when he asked about blood work this clinic said oh they will do that there!! No physical done!! A standard check of vitals, discussion on mental health ( no plan) and a quick physical check of an area of concern… that’s it!!! Not what was discussed on the phone as to what we needed for our son! Yet a bill for $275.93! Minus our insurance discount for in network of $130.49 leaving my college son with balance of $145.44!! Not to mention that we had to pay out of pocket to get labs done ( because this clinic refused to do! ) as we were that worried about his health to the tune of $185!! Insurance would have paid 100% if this office ( by the way who advertises labs in house) would have done them! Mr Fleshman did not listen nor act in a manner to take care of our son but dismissed him to a referral to a GI specialist which we still have not heard from! They even called my son to tell him to have his dad remove a negative review ! If i could give 0 stars I would ! This clinic might be fine if you need a person to speak with but not provide medical care to give complete exam and seek answers for your health issues."

"We love Scot at Gig Harbor Primary Care. He listens and cares about each patient. I have never felt rushed. I moved my kiddos over from the paediatrician and they love him too. My kids are 10, 12, 15 and 16 years old."
