"Dr. Son has been my primary care physician for many years. She’s caring and knowledgeable and has always helped me to take good care of my health. I’m very grateful for her."
"I have been helping my mother with Dr. Son for many years. My mom is now 97 years old. Dr. Son has a very nice bed side manner and is caring. The problem is that she does not fill prescriptions in a timely manner, she makes us wait an hour in the waiting room before getting called back to an exam room; doesn’t return phone calls within a reasonable time, etc. Many times we have called in prescriptions two days in advance, not to have them filled before she leaves for the weekend. I have seen my mom suffer for days because Dr. Son did not fax over a prescription. For example: Today 3/6/23 I called for my mom (she is deaf) to report to the Dr. What we were to be watching out for (symptoms) after her return home from the hospital. After mom exhibited symptoms, I called the Dr. and set up a telephone conference for 3:00 p.m. We waited and waited. She returned mom’s call at 4:50 p.m. Wow. That was horrible service as always. We talked and she said she’d be faxing over the prescription when we got off the phone…5:00 p.m. I leisurely drove to the pharmacy..they had not received the fax. I did some shopping..checked back twice, still no fax. By 6:00, I gave up after checking one last time. The pharmacist asked if my mom had considered getting a different doctor because she knows from past experiences the poor service Dr. Son has provided. She also said she would be calling the Dr.s office in the a.m., wondering about the prescription. Dr. Son has taken on way too many patients and chances are good they can’t be getting good service either. I only wish I had started documenting this years ago."
