"The katsudon was sooo good! The pork was really juicy and crispy and the rice was the perfect brothyness! The miso soup and cabage were great too"
"We ordered a Kurobuta Katsu (Oroshi Katsu) and a Mozzarella Katsu (Tomato & Cheese), priced at around $25-30 each. Each meal includes a large freshly fried pork cutlet, cabbage salad, pickled side dishes, white rice, and miso soup. Oroshi flavor comes with a generous amount of grated daikon radish, it is very refreshing. The Katsu is perfectly fried, not greasy at all. We preferred the pork loin katsu because of the juicy texture instead of the tenderloin ones. As for the Tomato & Cheese flavor, it's a bit hard to describe. We weren't big fans of the tomato sauce. When it combines with cheese and fried food, it feels like having a pizza. The dining environment is pleasant, clean, and quiet. The staffs are very friendly. If you prefer a more traditional Japanese taste for Katsu, I would recommend choosing the oroshi flavor or the curry. As for cheese, opting for a something without the tomatoes sauce, and instead using the Katsu sauce on the side might be a better choice."
"We were lucky to get in as one of the last seatings. The wait was well worth it. The katsu all comes out fresh with a piping hot miso soup which I recommend adding on. There are lots of different options to get your katsu. I chose the katsu curry combo with kurobuta pork. It was a very thick cut of pork. It wasn’t the juiciest katsu I’ve had, but it was well made with a perfect fry. The curry is made with chocolate, so be aware there is a sweetness to this curry. Wish the cabbage was a free refill type option, especially with such a thick cut of pork, but it is a healthy amount they provide for any normal person. (I’m just a little crazy with my cabbage when I eat katsu)"
"I found this place to be the best Katsu in town. The tonkatsu is juicy while thick and well fried all around. The nabe is also very good. We usually get one of each during a visit. Be mindful the line can get long."
"Came here a bit after opening for lunch (around a hour later) the place was still packed and had around a 30 minute wait. It was sooo worth it! Every dish we ordered was perfection and the sauces were delicious, and the meat selection all tasted extremely good. The staff were nice and friendly and had a very cheerful attitude. The sides to the dishes were also nice including pickles and sesame seeds."
