"This grassy park has beautiful views of the sky Puget Sound. We stopped in the late afternoon to watch the sun set. There were lots of people, families, and dogs here. You cannot directly see the sunset, however the sky is beautiful and there is a lot to see here! To the south is the Mukilteo ferry. Ahead is Whidbey, Hat and Camano Island. Overhead is a constant stream of air traffic that doesn't get too close and loud. Too the north is the port of Everett and Everett naval station. Below is a railroad where we saw a train passing about every 30 minutes. The trains are loud. There are about 5-8 benches and a few small picnic tables around the grassy area. Some of the benches had a lot of bird poop on them."
"This is one of my favorite parks to come to. The overview let's you watch boat activity and see the storms roll in while hanging out in your car or setting out a blanket on a warm summers day. Parking can sometimes fill up quickly but overall it's a peaceful quiet place to sit and enjoy nature."
"It's my favorite park along the Puget Sound coast. It is accessible and has direct views of the sound. Ample of parking and play area makes it a perfect destination for families. Seating bench along the small trail. There are blackberry bushes all along the boundary of the park. It's one of the best sunset viewing places in the sound area, and one does not have to get out of the car to see the sunset. There are a lot of picnic tables and Porta potty. The grass is maintained and can be used to just lie down and have an evening snack. You'll see lot of kids playing and adults playing volleyball."
"Gorgeous place! We stumbled upon this park on a whim but we’re able to find a secret path that led down to the beach! It was absolutely gorgeous, definitely a go to spot to take your family or that special someone to watch the sunset ❤️ There’s also some benches to watch the gorgeous view."
"Great spot to enjoy your coffee, have a picnic, set up a volleyball net, take a hike down to the beach below and enjoy the views of the Puget Sound, Everett Waterfront, Jetty Island, Hat Island, and Mt Baker. Someone commented that there was views of Rainier and that's incorrect. It's Mt Baker, not Rainier. If you follow the trail to the trees, they are the perfect hammock trees so don't forget your hammock. You can follow a trail down to the beach on the north side of the park or you can also find a trail on the south side that takes you to the gravel road. Or you can just walk to the gravel road and take it all the way down. The Northside trail is pretty easy so I recommend going that route to get some shade. My phone died before I got to the beach so I will have to come back and get some more pics."
