Reviews of E.C. Hughes Playground
"Awesome neighborhood park that has everything! Two baseball fields and soccer goals (can get a bit muddy). Basketball courts. Awesome new playground with swings and slides. Fun balancing balls. Splash pad/wading pool in summer time, assume that's when the bathroom building is open..."
"The playground was updated 2 years ago and is excellent, with structures for two age groups, swings, and some creative extras, all on soft wood chips. The rest of the park is good, but showing its age. The bathrooms and concrete pebble wading pool are both serviceable. Half a dozen picnic tables and grills are distributed throughout the north end of the park. The 3 basketball hoops (full-court + half-court) are on serviceable asphalt. The two baseball diamonds (North-East and South-West) are complete with dugouts and have natural infields. The two soccer fields (South-East and North-West) have decent goals of various sizes and rough natural turf (not exactly good, but not dangerous)."
"Nice wading pool for kids. Fun play equipment except the merry go round thing. That is SO slow. Better off going to Fairmount Park where they still have the old fashion type. Nice field to practice soccer in. Does get extremely muddy during the rain."
"Street parking. Has a bathroom area. Has a play area, basketball court, baseball, soccer and swings. Also had benches, grill for BBQ outdoor, and shades. Such a nice hidden spot with much potential but the stuff here are old. Would come back. Wish it was more updated. A lot of good things here."
