"The nurses and medical assistances are great, but there’s one ENP there have the worst bed side manner I’ve ever experienced."
"I can’t not say enough great things about my entire experience at Whidbey Health Walk-In Clinic. I got horrible sick Christmas Eve with what I felt like was the Flu. I needed to be seen fast because my PCM did not have availability. From check- in to being called back and seen, I felt like my nurses and PA Grace listened to my concerns, and made it their priority to get me feeling better. I was in and out in less than 2 hours with meds ready to go. If I ever have urgent health care needs in the future, I will be back knowing that I will receive great care and service all around. Thank you Whidbey Health!"
"I went in for maybe strep throat or maybe really bad allergies. I actually don't know cause they sent me to a different room due to my symptoms being similar to covid.. I waited maybe an hour and a half before I got up and asked how much longer. I was told maybe another hour and a half. I was told that there was 4 more people in front of me.. I walked in to the actual waiting room being completely full.. I gave up after that response, leaving the waiting room was completely EMPTY. If I knew how long I would be forced to wait, I would of not even bothered.."
"My wife had a bad cough and nasal congestion for a week and we thought it best to have it checked out. Concerned about the negative reviews but thought we should give it a try. Friendly and efficient front desk staff, then needed to complete another form online in the car because it was upper respiratory...did so and then shortly thereafter was brought into the exam room. RN was warm and proficient, and then Heather the Emergency Nurse Practitioner arrived...she was thorough, clearly competent and highly experienced, efficient and gave good explanations. Tested for covid and flu a and b and was negative on both. We were both pleased with the experience and staff! Would definitely return!"
"I accompanied a family member to the clinic, as she was too ill with a bad sore throat to drive herself. We arrived about 9, and waited in line for check-in until 9:50. Check-in took 10 minutes, although she'd filled out paperwork while waiting. Then we were sent outside to our car, where we waited until about 10:30 for a nurse to call her into the building. It was another half hour before she came out again. This was a very uncomfortable and unpleasant experience for her, and seems unreasonably long. Also, I am not sure of the accuracy of the forehead check thermometer on entry. It gave her a "temperature normal" reading, although both at home before we came and when she was seen in the examination room, her temperature registered over 100. On the plus side, the clinic was clean and the personnel were friendly. However, the experience was negative enough on the whole that I am unlikely to return here in the future."
