"Small park with a pond at the corner of NE 175th and Meridian. Entrance and parking on 175th near I-5 exit heading south. No restroom facilities, just one bench to sit on, small parking lot (a dozen spots including disabled). Despite the almost non existent amenities, my six year old enjoyed a 30-minute visit exploring the gravel path, hanging on to the low conifer branches, and admiring the water fowls swimming in the pond (Canadian geese, mallard ducks and buffleheads). The open grassy field is marred by geese poop (so many!) so no chance of running around the space. But the side with conifer trees and gravel paths, despite being closest to the freeway, was a delight to explore. We saw a brown creeper, several songbirds, and four hummingbirds loudly chirping/whistling to each other. Recommended for a short visit."
"A beautiful park in Shoreline. I took my dog there for some serious ball fetching and the place was empty. We played till we couldn't play anymore. I think this place is overlooked a lot. Check it out during a weekday."
"This park is quiet and the trees are beautiful, especially the Weeping Willow by the water. The only negative being that there is duck poo everywhere."
"Beautiful arboretum with a lively bog ecosystem. We saw dragonflies and a lot of spiders in August 2020. The space had a few helpful trashcans for those looking for a picnic spot and two nice benches as well. Bring a picnic blanket and sun protection as there wasn't a lot of shade."
"Good place for a quick neighborhood walk in this City of Shoreline park. Good-sized field for running around. Nice views of a small lake. Usually quiet. Parking lot. There is a small arboretum in the NE corner of the park."
