Reviews
"Cool little park up on Southcenter Hill near Tukwila City Hall and the new Firestation. Thick tree canopy makes this a great place to find shade on a hot sunny day. Great spot to take lunch or a break if you work in the area. If you live near it, it's a great place to rest if you are walking or biking up the 65th Ave Hill! Has a circular walking path with playground, tennis courts and basketball courts. Picnic benches and public barbecues, bring some horseshoes for the old horseshoe pit if you are feeling adventurous. Handicapped parking along with plenty of parking spaces you pull into directly off the road. A local gem, the newly rebuilt Gazebo is the Symbol I think of for this small slice of heaven on a hot day."
"Needed a safe place to walk my dog before his grooming appointment and reviews led me here. A nice green acreage of medium tall evergreens with a walking path, mostly paved and dirt that winds up then down through the park. It took me and my dog about 8 minutes to walk the whole path so we had to circle it a few more times to get his exercise. A pleasant little respite if you don’t mind the constant whooshing of the freeway below."
"Small park. Covered with lots of shade. Two baby swings. Walking paths, some trails, picnic tables. The picnic tables are not the cleanest due to weathering over time."
"This densely wooded park has a few nice picnic areas and a loop walking trail. It also has a good sized playground, a gazebo, three tennis courts and a basketball hoop. The Green River trail passes through the eastern edge of the park. Dog friendly but no off-leash area. Men's bathroom was boarded up and the horseshoe pit appeared to be abandoned. Athletic courts are serviceable but not high quality. One small parking lot on 65th Avenue South and two pedestrian entrances at the Northeast and Southeast corners of the park."
"So happy I visited this small but potent little park! Playground, tennis courts, a couple of basketball hoops, and a short walking trail that starts paved and ends up as a small, but maintained, dirt path. Just a short distance from Southcenter shopping malls."
