Lakewood Active Park

"Very small playground and a field of grass. No trees, trails, views. There is a small court for basketball but it's always in use. One picnic table. A few benches along the path that circles the grass.(the path is just a circle around the grass)"

"Nice quiet place. Once 430 hits parents start coming by with the kids. Water fountain is great for thirsty kids. Never over run by families. I would give it 5 if it had bathrooms. But overall great size park for young kids 3 years and up"

"The playground set looks like it is a bit of American gladiator training tool. But, It has three or four different slides that my daughter frequently dives head first down. Park is clean with well maintained open grass fields open walking paths throughout the entire park. Full court basketball court and a covered patio with picnic tables, grill and an option to reserve it for the day."

"The little kids had fun. The older ones did too. Small petting zoo for the indoor. Can be about 1 to 2 hours of fun with the animals. They do have an arcade as well with fun games. We did not experience the out door animals, it was just a 5 minute drive away. It has more animals, however, you must book in advance for that. Would recommend for small children experience. My smaller 3 kids lived holding the chickens best, even over being able to feed the other animals."

"Good park with play center (geared toward 5 to 12 year olds), basket ball court, picnic tables and field. Right off the road, in residential area... but feels secluded, clean and a nice place to be. There is also a port-a-potty."
