"Spectacular intimate theater in the round. You can sit in the back and soak it in or sit right on the edge of the stage and feel like your right there in the action! I was thoroughly impressed with the tech facilities, scenery, sound and lighting. I attended "the Giver" 2024 and loved the show, all the actors were believable and comfortable. The direction and blocking used the entire space. But the leads, they were especially impressive.!"
"This Playhouse has put on some great shows with great cast and crew. The staff is friendly and welcoming. I look forward watching and participating in future shows."
"My eldest took me to see the play Love, Loss, and What I Wore. The cast was excellent! We really enjoyed the play. I forgot it WAS a play and laughed and cried. I wanted to run up and hug and comfort the character at one point I was so enthralled. Highly recommend!"
"Recently attend a play here and it was an excellent experience. I'd never seen a play acted in a center performance circle and the audience on all four sides before. I think it was both directed & acted brilliantly to be able to utilize this performance space best and the way they did in this play. It felt almost like minimalist theater, everything is stripped down and the experience is personal. I would happily attend any performance here in the future and I highly recommend this experience."
"I saw Ragtime at this theater last week. We were blown away by this production - it was very good. All the actors were great, the singing was good, and even though the audience was sparse, the players had great energy. Clarence Williams was a part of the ensemble, but he was a standout, by the way he stayed in character, and had a perfect reaction in many scenes. Not to much as to be distracting, but still engaged, and holding audience attention to what is happening in the scene. Please go see it, it s great!"
