Reviews of Civic Center Playfield
"Terrible park waste of lots of land space. The only nice thing is the skatepark and maybe for casual stroll. But the playground is useless literally nothing for kids to play in. I have a toddler and elementary school kid and both get bored 5 minutes in."
"This park has something for just about everyone -- kids climbing, swinging, spinning, and my grandson's favorite the sandbox excavator. For older kids, soccer, skatepark, running track, pickleball, bocce. And just beautiful green space with lots of happy people."
"Great new park with a track, skate park, playground, tennis court and basketball courts, bocce ball field, and soccer fields. My daughter has soccer games here on Saturdays (4 years old) and it's a 4 minute walk from our house. Sweet new addition!"
"Went there today with the grandkids - full sun and in the 70βs. The pros: path that goes all around the park great for scooters/bikes, tennis/pickle ball and basketball court, grassy hills to roll down & sit on, skate park, all inclusive playground area. The cons: only one covered/shade area that is no where near the playground area or in a place where you can keep an eye on kids at the ball courts or anywhere in the park. Zero shade to be found where kids are playing or at picnic tables close to the play areas. My advice: bring a beach umbrella or some kind of shade making apparatus and set it up near where you will be spending the most time if you plan on being there for more than a few minutes on a sunny day. It was downright brutal today."
