". ***** if you let your child check out the beach and it is low tide ** DO NOT let them wander out on the flats too far there Is sinking sand and I was crawling waist deep to rescue my determined toddler he really likes throwing things into the water so it got pretty sketchy. There maybe needs to be a sign. I grew up on sunlight Beach and used to clam dig at freeland Beach back in early 2000s so I knew better but I guess not very smart of me to bring him to the beach at low tide in the winter .*** Play ground has been vandalized by some very inexperienced hoodlum. Nothing profane really or legible but how sad is that? Very nice playground. I go alot"
