Reviews of Fairgrounds Community Park
"This is a great little park. My kids are under 4 years old and the play equipment is age-appropriate for them. There's also a nice walking trail that has some elevation changes around the perimeter of the park. From the top there's a very gorgeous view."
"I love this park. We’ve had birthday parties for our kids here, brought the kids from a very young age to play here over the years and it has always been clean, nice facilities, and plenty to do. (Those darn yellow jackets though…could live without them around as much!) Always has beautiful sunset views in the evening. You can’t really argue with stunning views like these…"
"We tailgated at this community park and it was very nice. The weather was iffy so the large shelter was appreciated. Park construction was completed ten years ago, but the park seemed new. I suspect because it is located in an area that is not yet fully developed and it may have seen minimal use to this point. It is a hidden treasure. The playground was enjoyed by many in our party (but my sister fell off the merry-go-round and hurt her pride) and the southern views from the park are also very nice. A long paved trail winds around the park. It is very close to the Amphitheater so it would be interesting to see what a concert sounds like from there. For the adventurous, there is also a connector trail between the Fairgrounds Park and Whipple Creek Park. My tip of the cap to Clark County for their work on this park"
"Really lovely park for kids and parents to enjoy. It has a huge playground and 2 large covered shelters and picnic tables. It also has beautiful views"
