Reviews of Thousand Trails Chehalis
"I've been a member for over 20 years. The resorts are gated with excellent security, if you have kids this is a big plus. Their cabins are kept up very nice. I've usually stayed in my RV, with full hookup . The resorts have lots of amenities. The staff are always friendly and professional. The maintenance on the resorts grounds are always top-notch."
"Always a good outing. The only issue is the upper lodge not being open when 80 percent of the campers are around the upper lodge this time of year. Its nice to get coffee and use the clubs facilities without walking a mile to do so."
"We have used Thousand Trails for over 25 years. Great resorts with plenty of amenities. One of the amenities is Safety and Security that the resorts provided for kids, including ourselves, The staff are friendly, courteous and very helpful. The resorts are always clean, the restrooms and showers are warm. The RV sites are large with full hookup they even have tent sites. I've been to many Thousand Trails resorts and they're all unique and different in their own way"
"We have called here several times. Even though this is the first of the Thousand Trails locations, it has been kept pretty up to date. We have stayed on both the C loop and the H loop. The C loop was: * Nice, close to the upper lodge, upper pool, basketball court, and playground. * The cell signal on Verizon and AT&T was there, mostly, at 1 or 2 bars. * The shower was decent and clean. * Toilets were short but worked as intended. * Sites had power and water hookups. * The tongue of almost all of the trailers were near as low as they would go. * These sites could use more gravel at the tail-end of each one. The H loop: * Has better cell signal (2-3 bars with Verizon) * Sites are much more level. * One toilet in the female bathroom rocks, one toilet seat is loose, the other 2 toilets seem good. * Shower was good and clean, the men's shower wasn't the best and not real clean. * This loop is further away from everything except bathrooms There is a dog park near the center of the C-H loops, the gate isn't completely secure but serves its purpose. There are 2 dump stations. No propane on site. A, B, E, and part of F, the upper lodge, store, and the pools are closed for the winter. Overall, this is a great park to stay at. A country feel that is close enough to town for supplies and entertainment."
"Horrible Service - Website is not up to date. Phone system does not work to call for information or updates on local conditions or "burn bans" and amenities. It's been 2 weeks since I first tried to contact this location. It has been 7 days since I asked the member service representative to contact me. The email I received back was short, rude, and vague. "We do not provide a concierge service and you should look into local news and updates before traveling". Guess what Todd, I did and I called the camp ground to ask about the burn ban and pools being open. Even today, a week after the Lewis County Burn Ban was lifted their website reflects a burn ban is in effect. Don't plan on going camping here if you want to enjoy a camp fire, or the amenities. The staff is rude and there is no means of contact via phone or email. But, as they say "Happy Camping". I'm sorry, I am not a happy camper due tot he lack of communication and customer service provided."
