"My deductible was met in 10/22. Swedish sent a letter my procedure would cost 0 in 12/22. Procedure canceled due to bad weather, employees could not make it in. Said they would call Monday, 12/26 and squeeze me in last week of 12/2022. They finally called Wed, 12/28 scheduling for January 2023, costing me $1400. Disputed twice with no answer from Swedish. Many calls trying to resolve with 0 response. Finally I was contacted by collections. Swedish not willing to honor their promise. No integrity. No reply to my dudpute nor warning of collection"

"Today is Weds. Sept.6th, 2023 and I just called after receiving the notice that my yearly breast exam is due. They got me in on Friday morning 2 days from now! Maybe they hired more staff."

"I've been playing phone tag with Swedish for a month trying to book a follow-up ultrasound after my routine mammogram was flagged. They DO NOT ever answer the phone so you're required to leave a voicemail. They call back when I'm asleep or in class (phone on silent) asking me to call them back at the same number where no one answers! I've received letters in the mail (including a certified one!) about the need for this ultrasound and yet there is no way to get a hold of them!"

"Although Swedish in Seattle has been a positive experience, my recent visit to Swedish Breast Center in Edmonds was extremely frustrating. I booked a mammogram a month+ in advance. Received multiple reminders and requests to confirm my appt - which I had done. Took a ferry and drove to my appoint the day of, only to be told at the front desk that there was a flag on my info. It turns out my primary care doctor moved away during covid. I was not aware of this. Fortunately I had no urgent reason to go to the doctors during the pandemic. The receptionist would not allow me to take my appointment as scheduled without an assigned doctor. They could have notified me ahead of time of this flag during their many reminders so I could address it prior to my appointment, but they did not. I asked if they could let me get my overdue mammogram since I was right there. They could hold the images 24 hrs/until a replacement doctor was selected, but was told "no". I am not sure why but the receptionist even instructed me to go outside to make calls to find a new doctor, even though I had a mask on and the waiting room was completely empty. All in all it was a complete fail. I have no intention of going back to Swedish and have since made an appointment and selected a doc elsewhere."
