Reviews of Carrie Blake Park
"A beautiful place to take kids and grandparents too! Was out running errands and my friend suggested we eat our lunch there before going back to Port Townsend. During the summer and fall there are shows as there is an outdoor theatre. In the fall there is the Lavender festival to all those have both a love and appreciation for this mighty loving and giving herb! So this time of year see the ducks whom have migrated from near and far from the comfort of your car. Eat a meal or share a warm beverage amongst friends and family at this amazing little space that is tucked away in an unlikely place! Others: Playground, foot bridges and sport fields."
"Carrie Blake Park in Sequim Washington is beautifully maintained perfect whether your looking for a peaceful stroll or a spot for a picnic with family / friends . The botanical garden is a must see highlight and there’s a doggy park too !"
"This was my first time going to this park for the Lavender Fest and it was definitely the largest part of the festival with a big stage for Lavender Stock! Lots of vendors to support and food and drinks, including a beer garden to drink while enjoying the music. This park has a pretty garden with a waterfall into a pond, and another duck/geese pond in the back by sports fields and trail. I will definitely be back to this park for the festival and stay longer to enjoy the last band that plays from 7-9pm."
"We thoroughly enjoyed this park that contains a botanical garden with beautiful flowers and a pond with Canada geese. There is also a Japanese garden and a nice pond with ducks. We enjoyed seeing all the dogs around the park. There is a soccer field and an amphitheater for outdoor concerts. The highlight was seeing a bald eagle perched above us in a tree. There are clean restrooms as well."
"Nice park to stretch out, take in local flora and fauna, and enjoy nature. There's a great dog park with plenty of space, grass, and trees for your pups to play. The ne amphitheater is beautiful, and I can't wait for the Lavender Festival this year."
