"Edited to add: I have since thrown a birthday party at ICS for my kiddo- as if i couldn’t love this place any more. It was such a blast! Everyone enjoyed themselves and Rachel was such a huge help with the guests and helping me keep on track time wise, etc. i HIGHLY recommend you consider ICS for your next bday party/shindig. The rate was really affordable for all that’s included. Thank you so much for the awesome experience. This place is such a wonderful resource for families in Whatcom Co! Rei has done a wonderful job identifying the needs for the area and providing them. I’ve gone to a few birthday parties at inner child and loved the entire thing, so i signed my son up for 2 rounds of toddler play time over the course of winter/spring. It was a really wonderful experience! I am autistic with ADHD so i can get overwhelmed fairly easily (especially when it comes to kid stuff!) and the studio was so chill! There was a huge variety for my son to play with, a great snack provided, and very sensory friendly for all involved lol. I’m also lgbtq+ and really appreciate all that inner child does to support that community, as well ND folks. Thank you for being a safe place for kids to play during a pandemic!"

"This place is amazing! It's very friendly for all walks of life. Very friendly for BF parents like me. Lots of opportunity for creative or structured play. I cannot recommend this place enough. The attendant said it is a non-profit and started out supporting families of children with special healthcare needs. They seem to run largely on donations."

"We have had nothing but great experiences here. Rachel is so kind and puts so much effort into what she does. There is always so many different stations set up for the kids, it's so clean, the vibe is great, she plays great music. She is great with the kids and truly pours herself and so much love back into the community. Highly recommend this place for all the things!!"
