"I had two recent visits to this clinic in September and unfortunately November. I had a visit in late September for Botox. I have been getting Botox about twice a year since 2020. This is preventative Botox at this point since I am still young. In September I saw Marissa, appointment seemed normal however when discussing prior to treatment I have one eyebrow that is a tad lower than the other so I always request that that brow is lifted. I always point in the exact location that I want it injected And the desired outcome of the lift. Meaning some people Want a lifted arch And some people want the tail lifted. The treatment was over within five minutes. I did ask if that area was treated and she said yes although the location was not injected. Two weeks had passed, and the Botox was not taking effect on my muscles. I had called the clinic and asked for a follow up appointment for when I get back from my trip. The woman recommended that I continue to wait as it was too early to tell So I decided to call when I got back from my trip. About four weeks after treatment I called in and said that the Botox had not set in. I made an appointment for the upcoming Saturday Which happened to be November at that point. The woman on the phone said it was a follow up appointment. At this appointment in November, I saw Patricia. During this appointment, we discussed that the Botox didn’t take affect. She did say that I probably built a resistance to it Which is very rare. Although I didn’t believe her, I nodded an agreement and continued on. She went over my chart And I had asked if a brow lift was done previously. She said no. Going forward, she said we were going To do a treatment with dysport. I had asked her, if if this is going to be just a touchup or a new treatment. She said it was going to be a new treatment since it was over the two weeks. At that point, I was incredibly frustrated as I was already told To wait And then I was on a trip. She did however treat the eyebrow how I originally requested. After treatment, I was immediately disappointed and followed up with the clinic. I was met with a manager that simply was focusing on one part of the issue and not The whole issue at hand. She continued to offer me to come into the office for a follow up. However, I don’t need to follow up on any treatment. She also commented and said that later on both Injectors Did, in fact do a brow lift. Of course, she would say that because a customer was charged For some thing that wasn’t done. I have requested a refund three times And I am just met with an answer that simply doesn’t make sense or a failed attempt to grasp at straws. I wasn’t simply offered anything. I called my current injector and told her what was going on and I went to her office to test. We tested Botox in certain areas of my face That we have before. And to our surprise, the Botox Took affect immediately in the two week period with no problem. So unfortunately the injector either did not inject far enough into the muscle or their botox is diluted. Super unfortunate that this happened. This could have been such an easy fix to keep a client as I was ready to book prp and fillers with other injectors there. The clinic is super beautiful and the staff there is overall pretty ok. How they dealt with this was poor and something I would expect from a place that sells on groupon or something. We choose the places we go due to experience and expertise and I simply cannot trust anyone there now that I was lied to just to avoid patching up a bad service."
