Village Wine Shop and Tasting Room

"Came here on Saturday did a tasting and bought a bottle. Came back on Sunday and they had live music with people drinking at the establishment. The owner was playing the harmonica with the band. He said he would come help us with wine when he was done. He didn't have time so we picked a wine for purchase. He suggested we buy the winery branded wine instead. I agreed. I asked if he could open the wine so we could enjoy it in the shop (to enjoy the music) however he said it was against the rules even though this is the same wine offered for tastings. Was extremely disappointed on the approach to sell the local winery brand after waiting 20 mins for service to then be told we couldn't stay and have a glass and enjoy the live music."

The owner Rick has an astute caring attention to detail and always steers me in the right direction for the perfect bottle (or two) His sweet dog Gus is just the icing on the cake. Often there’s excellent live music on Sundays with local talent! Come in for a visit and enjoy the celebratory energy!"

"Fabulous wine shop! The store specializes in Washington and Oregon wines and Japanese sake. It might seem like an eclectic mix, but the owner has a reason for it; you should ask about it! The wines are organized by price instead of the usual location or alphabetical winery name. Organizing by price makes it so easy and convenient to stay in your budget. I'm picky about Chardonnays, but the owner have me a great recommendations for Alexana and it was so crisp and delicious! The store is great and the owner is an upstanding guy. Be sure to also say 'hi' to Gus the dog!"
