"Tonight I had my first ever lymphatic drainage massage and I could not have picked a more perfect therapist for the job. Doreen truly listened to my concerns and went forward with compassion and good intentions. I could feel that she was paying attention to my body during the massage. She even stopped to check my wrist pulses as all good TCM practitioners do. She wanted to ensure lymphatic drainage would be safe for me. She was the first therapist I ever let work on my abdomen, an area full of physical and emotional trauma. I instinctively felt safe doing this and I’m glad I did. Her touch was gentle, soothing and effective. After the massage she had hot tumeric tea ready to help calm my inflammation. She encouraged my to stay hydrated by giving me a bottle of water. We sat in the waiting room (which is adorable and comfortable) for a few minutes after and discussed which therapies would be most beneficial for me in the future. Elton was so calm and sweet, I loved having him there during the massage. His presence helped calm any anxiety I had. I give 13/10, Doreen is absolutely amazing."
