"It was my first time there and I really did not want to write a negative review given how nice and personable Mauricio was; However, I feel I need to given the quality of the cut for the price I paid. It started off by me waiting for 15-20 min after my scheduled appointment time as he had another client, no worries, I get sometimes it takes a bit longer on some clients. The issue I had is that another client showed up halfway between my appointment as it was already time for his appointment given Mauricio started mine late. He began to rush the cut after the client showed up and I felt he was trying to get me out as fast as possible. As a result, I was left with a cut that I really couldn’t stand looking at. I didn’t realize the extent of how bad it was until I left and saw it up close and in better lighting. I also had an interview the next morning that I almost rescheduled because I didn’t want to show up with my hair in that state. In the end, I feel Mauricio is a good guy, but I don’t feel it was fair for me to pay $60+ dollars for a cut that was rushed and wasn’t even what a asked for (a fade)."

Not only was the haircut itself fantastic, but Alex also took the time to listen to my requests and make sure I was completely satisfied with the end result. I have long curly hair that normally people can’t really handle but Mauricio was a pro and gave me a nice clean undercut that is probably the first haircut I have enjoyed in years.
