"I called this morning, Saturday 2/10/2024, and he said he had an opening at 1:30pm. I said I would be there. I arrived at 1:28pm and the shop was closed for the day. I tried to call before posting a review here. That's just a little unprofessional."

"Mike is a great old fashioned barber. Definitely my preferred spot on the island. If you're looking for a scalp massage and hair gel this isn't the place for you. If you want a great trim reasonably priced then this is the place!"

"Mike is a wonderful guy and a great barber, so it hurts to leave a negative review. He's supposedly open Tuesday-Saturday, 9 AM to 5 PM, but in practice his hours seem to be "whenever I darn well feel like opening." Not the first time I've come by during supposed business hours to find it closed."

"The perfect barbershop experience. Firstly, the cuts are great. Mike is an absolute pro but unlike some he’s also very receptive and flexible to your requests. The prices are very reasonable and he works quickly. He also happens to be one of the nicest, funniest fellas I’ve met on Bainbridge Island. And it’s hard not to be charmed by the dogs that stop by for one of the treats Mike keeps by the door."
