"DO NOT SHOP HERE! They discriminate against people who are immunocompromised! I had edited this review because the cashier with longer black hair had said he was "just joking" and hadn't meant to discriminate against me for protecting myself like every patriotic American should by wearing a N95 mask indoors. When I returned to give the place another chance the cashier recognized me and hassled me for leaving a review about his behavior, claiming that I almost cost him his job.He also is clearly a woman hater, trying to make something of the fact that I "told my wife on him". He then tried to rip me off by charging me $21 for a product that said $14.99 on the shelf. I will never be back here for real this time. This cashier is driving away your business and you should not hire anti mask fascists if you want people to shop with you. The Lord doesn't look kindly on those who mock and bully people with compromised immune systems who need to mask up to protect ourselves, and they don't belong in customer service jobs. I'm not just some Karen either, I have years of retail experience and I would never mock a customer for their personal protective equipment then harass them about a review they had left for my employer. It's frankly shameful and reflects poorly on the Speedy Mart. He did not apologize, he effectively doubled down on his discrimination by saying sarcastically "I thought you had a sense of humor. I guess not." If you make a joke some time, maybe I'll laugh at it buddy. But in this situation the only joke here is you still being employed here. Edit 2: I was also sold a disgusting and inedible bean and cheese burrito as punishment for daring to ask what kind of burrito they were. Please don't shop here if you respect yourselves, people. This is what I had edited my previous 1 star review to in order to give them the benefit of the doubt after I was discriminated against "jokingly" for wearing a mask: It's fine! They sell beer that's kinda old, check the date. They have really good iced coffee in a bottle and their food is good but overpriced."
"I just bought a lighter from the store because I have a barbecue the next day. I opened the lighter in my car and realized it doesn't work. I came back 1 minute later and told the guy that the lighter doesn't work. He just told me: "maybe you need to put some gas on it" How I said. And he replied back "I don't know. Have a good night" they give no receipt at 1st then sell broken stuff. I know it's only $6 but come on! I can get 2 sauce burritos and coffee from McDonald's the next day zzzz"
"I come in early every other week. The attendant is extremely rude. He blows me off and helps customers behind me. He is constantly rude and very unhelpful. He appears to have a problem with women. He is the worst!!!!!"
"This place is an absolute joke!! $14.99 for two thighs, two legs and a two piece basket. Here's the punch line, it was discounted, dry food that they were going to throw away. Wouldn't recommend anybody spend there hard earned money for the cheapest meat in the market. It has zero foa"
"Morning person yells at a customers and tells them to get out of the store and never come back. Unfortunately I worked there for 3 days and this happened every time I worked. I quit but I'm pretty sure he's still yelling at people. The owners never filled out paperwork for me. Never gave me a schedule. Promised I would not work alone for 2 weeks.... expected me to work alone on my 4th. day... Literally wanted to leave me alone to run a store after 3 days."
