"One of the best haircuts I have ever had! Until now the best haircuts I am ever had were (1) from a lady I was dating who owned her own salon, renting chairs, and who taught me to appreciate hairstyling, and (2) from an old fashioned Portuguese barber on "The Main" in Montreal who taught me to appreciate good old-fashioned efficient haircuts. Barber King wins in both categories. I've lived near BK for many years, but only visited it since my old haircutter closed shop. I wish I had visited BM earlier. Better price, better haircut, and much faster. The BK lady just knows her stuff. Only downside is parking, if you cannot walk and have to drive, as I do. The streets around BK are confusing: Westover is 2-way past BK to the north and west, but becomes 1-way just past BK to the south and east, at the garage for Thiele Square, where are you may need to turn around to take advantage of parking in front of BK on Westover. Else you will have to loop down Westover, right/south on 23rd, right/west to on Burnside, right/north on 23rd Place which tees at Westover right in front of BK. Look for parking on 23rd Pl., on Westover as mentioned above, or on Everett, etc."

Cons: If you're looking for a super-bougie-cut-every-hair-evenly-sit-for-an-hour-schedule-three-weeks-in-advance-pay-$100 kind of haircut you can go to one of the myriad of places in NW that offer that. Pay cash and she's more stoked."
