State Street Barber Shop

"Went there today, it went really well. The woman who trimmed up my hair understood I didn't want to talk and that was a relief as I have difficulty speaking and difficulty speaking with people at times. She also did the hair cut exactly to my parameters and my head feels so much better. Passive sensations, temperature regulation, running my fingers through it, the works. (Thank you for helping me feel better.) She was the first stylist/barber in 3 almost 4 years touch my hair and i'm glad it went well. I've literally been the only one to trim my hair up for a long while because I have a hard time with other people touching me. And when I had more hair I had a bunch of stylists just bungle my hair and I lost faith in other people doing it right. I have sensory issues due to a neurological disorder and she was gentle and smooth with the buzzer, especially around the ears. Which I super appreciate. She also didn't judge me for how I have my hair and I was thankful for that. (I totally had intended on tipping you more but I tapped the 20% button before I did the proper math, (sorry)). Also the cat! I totally petted the crap out of him and he loved it. Air biscuits and everything. I absolutely could have spent an hour petting him, but I had to go and the space was literally full of customers. He was a super sweet kitty who deserves lots of cheek/neck scritches. 10/10 hair cut 100/100 kitty. (Yes I know those are equivalent fractions, hush. You get my drift) (Also, I'm so glad that the shop didn't have perfume invading every space. I appreciated not having a migraine today)"
