"Their public restroom is permantently closed to the PUBLIC due to "ongoing issues". Why don't you just get a door with a code to ensure only customers use? There was only ONE cashier open tonight around 6pm. I went to self-check, which I do all the time, with MORE groceries than I had tonight. After entering my club card and starting the attendant told me I had to go through a cashier. I told him there is only one and he said sorry I still had to go. The self check was almost EMPTY with NO ITEM LIMIT posted on the sign. My 19 items and I went and waited in a line for 15 mins."

"I have to say I’ve been coming to this particular Safeway for years, I have always loved the service and compassion the employees practice. Tonight I left my wallet in a cart, a very honest young man, one of the curtest clerks happen to grab it and give it to the manager on duty who diligently put it under lock and key. I returned and was given my wallet back the same way I left it. That is so rare these days and I am very glad they were honest and dependable as always. Thank you so very much."

"Worse experience ever in self checkout. Mon 23rd October 2023 around 11 or 12 in the morning. The attendant jerked my court away from me and pulled it out of the self check area declaring people were waiting. I apologized stating I was handicapped (I only have the use of one hand) and was trying to get my debit card and change back into my wallet. My phone was in the cart and groceries were still in a bag in the stand. She looked like she didn't want to be there. I smiled and said that she would be much happier if she smiled at customers occasionally. She just looked the other way and grumbled to have a nice day. Had both hands in her apron pockets the entire time except to remove my cart. I said jimminy you know I won't be returning. Not a word. Hands still in pockets. And I won't be returning. I'm from Olympia but my gf's son lives just down the road on 62nd. I will be recommending to him that he use the other Safeway nearby. I still give some stars because the floral dept looked amazing and was truly pleasant to see as you enter the store. I complimented the woman working the displays and she said thank you with a big smile entering was good, paying and leaving sucked and ruined the whole experience."

"I went to buy drinks for new year when I get there my wife was already there buying groceries and few drinks for her but a day before some one stole her bag with document and them I was there buying drink for me and she said the cashier dont.alow her to get her.drinks.and them i get her.drinks but when I get to the cashier. She call the manager and no matter what I explain to them they kick me out the store the manager Tiara G and her cashier need a.better trained to customer. I always go to that store but from now on until they apologize to me I not coming back is very sad that the owner loose customers for this kind of employers."
